The Torres vs United myth

Some clown on the radio (wasn't paying attention to who it was) just said that "Drogba loves to play at Old Trafford, nearly every time he comes here he scores."

...

Yeah, I think that takes the torres thing and makes it look incredibly reasonable.

Drogba is a freakin beast though when it comes to big games:nervous:

How many times has he scored at OT? The only two I can remember is last season in the league (the infamous offside goal), and the one in the CL this season.

Are there others?

Hernandez has now scored as many goals for us against Chelsea as Torres has against us. Torres has had 11 cracks of the whip, Hernandez just the 5.

Torres also lost his 5th game against United this season - his fourth at Old Trafford.

His overall record is Played 11, Won 3, Lost 8, scored 3...and yet the myth will persist

All because Vidic misread the bounce of a ball but who really cares anymore? Torres record against us and Vidic is shit, the facts and the figures shown that quite conclusively.

It's completely a myth. He even got the ball in lots of space out wide to run at Vidic. Did feck all with it and just played a simple pass.

Basically he's more often than not a dud against Vidic and Ferdinand. He's had one good performance against Vidic and one good goal against Ferdinand.
