Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Ever since it happened, I was looking on SM every day for Mbappe to be readded, so yesterday I bid on him pretty much just after he was added to give me the best chance of getting him back (however slim it is).

Varun bid a few hours later. I explained situation to him and he was sympathetic. Said he'd withdraw after bids are accepted if nobody else bids.

Then around 2am today (last minute), Herrera makes a bid and is now gloating about it on SM.

So chances are I'm both stuck with Sylla and won't get Mbappe as he'll end up going to Liverpool or some other stupid decision.

Thanks to those who didn't bid out of courtesy despite knowing Mbappe was added - like @The Stain

Don't get why SM didn't just change Sylla's details to Mbappe's. They could then just re-add or simply just retire him. If anyone even has him.

He was the player someone were saying; "he was a decent player at 10", or similar, wasn't he?

Yep. Christy. Look at last set of spoilers where Herrera also posted on the completed transfer thread for Sylla (at time it said Kylian Mbappe as you and the others can confirm). He then bid on the real Mbappe last minute.

Herrera should withdraw his bid, but that is probably just me
He won't. He did it deliberately. Times of bids:

Btw, there won't be any 30 mill for 3rd place in the league (recall GS saying he got that). MK2 has very rich economy.

LB told me he received 28 mill for winning another league with normal economy and 20 mill for 6th place so it's not all bad. Winning european competitions will be an even bigger deal now. 20 mill for CL win with 10 for runner up. SMFA Shield half that. No clue for domestic cups but probably a bit higher than before.

I have a strong feeling Tottenham are bugged to receive 50 mil every season, because in 3 seasons managing them in two DIFFERENT GWs, I have received 50mil, irrespective of standing or performance in the previous season. I love the money, but I don't feel it's fair because I receive money in GWs where I don't need it.

I recently discovered that the larger clubs in SM will often get massive cash injections (30-50 mil as I've seen it) at the start of the new season, I suppose to help them preserve their status as large clubs and maybe even mimic an aspect of real world football economy (rich chairmen spending their own money on the club).

Someone went on to say Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool got huge injections in a another world.

SM forum mod Steven has said they're working on it but wtf, how can one group of people feck a game so badly

 Don't forget the stadium increases. Some of you guys in Division 1 have had 2 this year, yet to my knowledge, nobody in a lower league has had one yet. :(

In other spectacular SM news. Did anyone notice the player values change again last week? Some players seem to have gained a few quid while others decreased. My best guess is that they have been getting uber amounts of shit on the forums about the increases that happened when they launched the new ME and interface, only to be removed a few days later. It seems they have met in the middle. For instance Rondon and Fred were valued at 6m and 8m before the change, then they shot up to 12m each only to come back down to 8m. Loads of players were affected like this. Last week Rondon and Fred both went up to 10m.

Also, I noticed Liam Grimshaw went from £400k to £1.2m just because he turned 21. :wenger:

FML, does nothing make sense in this game?

Survival could be a tough ask for my team now, a bit of a gap between me and Newcastle. Delph also got injured and will be out for most of the remaining games :(

Surprised the Chinese didn't go for him, they are really fecking up the game
So am I. Was just looking on Betis' twitter feed when I came across the news.

Even more surprised that he hadn't played outside of Brazil before now but looking at his stats as he's got older his scoring record has worsened.

So the papers went through then.. Saw it some days ago that he was waiting for some board to decide if he could help them in their season or something like that.. There's a decent article on him. On how he was close to Spurs then that fell through. Let me see.. http://cartilagefreecaptain.sbnatio...ansfer-target-what-happened-to-leandro-damiao

And yeah, was looking on Damiao's wiki page and it said the move to Betis fell through a few days ago but it has definitely happened now (free agent).

Herrera has 50 squad cap. He currently has 51 players and is bidding on at least 2 right now.
