The Rock is a funny guy

gone are the days of wresting with the big stables and big personalities. Pro Wrestling was at its height when it was Corporation vs Ministry vs D-X and Kane would go inbetween them all. Then the corporate ministry.

I miss the mega stables. when edge and christian were no more then intercontinental nuff nuffs with gangral in the brood. The Tag Team title was huge. Storylines were interesting. There was one world title and it was fought between The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker and HHH.

when the Godfather had the Ho train.

Even a bit later when it was dudley boys vs edge and christian vs hardy boyz.

Wrestling titles dont mean shit anymore because there are too many of them. Kane and the undertaker are close to retiring, and when it happens Pro Wrestling will lose me forever. It will be a sad day when WWE loses both of them. and WWE turns into the HHH Wrestling Experience.

I completely stopped watching WWF (as it was called back then) when Bret Hart left...

The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be..
The excellence of execution :D:D
Him, Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger(spl???), Tatanka, Doink the Clown, Ted Di Biase, Jerry The King Lawler (When he was wrestling and not commentating), Yokozuna with Mr Fuji, Atam Bomb, British Bulldog, Mr Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, Razor Ramon, 123 Kid, Bob Backlund (or should i say MR Bob Backlund)

Am I the only one who remembers that era?
I guess for me it was at that sort of age where, I was old enough to get the story line, but not old enough to get or want to believe that it was all fake and childish.
Now THOSE were the days i TRULY enjoyed WWF....

It really is a shame how it's gone. HHH to me signifies the WWE - at his peak around 99-00, but slowly on his way downhill ever since. Indeed, I've always felt that it was his reign at that period which put the final nail in the coffin of the WCW. He was the perfect counter-balance to Rock and Austin, and when you threw in the Undertaker and Mankind as well...WCW just couldn't compete.

I was a massive Hunter fan back then so maybe I was biased, but he could've gone down as one of the best heels ever. Unfortunately a combination of his injury making him a lesser wrestler, Austin and Rock leaving making him feel like the big man in town, his relationship with Stephanie giving him the ability to ensure he was the main man, and Vince seemingly losing his drive for success after beating the WCW and letting him get away with it...it's all tarnished his memory unfortunately.

Don't watch it anymore. Can't be bothered cause the only question is which is worse - the wrestlers or the storyline.

When I first started watching WWF it was a masked guy called Mil Mascara or something like that.

Then it was The Ultimate Warrior, he as a monster. After that was the The Undertaker.

These 3 are the ones that really stood out for me.

The Rock was funny - Mick Foley was funnier. The two together were 100% comedy gold.

no mate, that was when i got into wrestling (was about 8 or 9 then) stopped giving a shit about it when i was 12/13...

he was quality on rossy

I thought it was very funny when Ross said to him he was very ripped (actually Ross said it as wipped because obviously he can't pronounce his R's) and the Rock was winding him up saying 'what you mean I'm wipped' and Ross was like 'oh feck off'! I thought it was bloody brilliant :)
