If next season Denver can land either Kawhi or Kyrie then hopefully that would be enough for playoff!
Next draft is pretty bad though beside those two

It's not a bad little draft, honestly. Remember it bases their stats on their rookie season, so we might have some funny results. Like Iman Shumpert possibly being the best player of the draft.

Lakers 81-97 Golden State | altodevil: 0/17/0
Clippers 112-101 Utah | Dr. Dwayne: 34/10/4
Portland 95-102 Sacramento | oneniltothearsenal: 16/16/1 & P-Nut: 40/3/6
Washington 112-99 Toronto | Salt Bailly: 15/5/9
Boston 84-80 Philadelphia | hobbers: 21/12/11
New Jersey 120-103 Indiana | V.O.: 29/0/15 | Skizzo: out injured
Chicago 115-98 Miami | SebJr: 7/0/6

We lose Salt Bailly and Toronto, but it would have taken a miracle to beat the Wizards as the 8-seed. He's never played better in the playoffs before, so the loss isn't on him. SebJr didn't play enough to heavily impact the series, but beating Chicago was probably never on the cards either.

Lakers 87-74 Golden State | altodevil: 2/24/6
Clippers 102-112 Utah | Dr. Dwayne: 25/7/1
Portland 103-102 Sacramento | oneniltothearsenal: 6/14/1 & P-Nut: 29/3/12
Boston 108-82 Philadelphia | hobbers: 23/8/13
New Jersey 111-80 Indiana | V.O.: 24/1/13 | Skizzo: out injured

altodevil is through, as expected, as is V.O.! We lose Skizzo, but he was injured for the duration (and would miss the next round also in any case).

Clippers 85-110 Utah | Dr. Dwayne: 22/9/4
Portland 87-117 Sacramento | oneniltothearsenal: 9/8/3 & P-Nut: 43/3/9
Boston 99-83 Philadelphia | hobbers: 25/7/10

Utah and Dr. Dwayne make it through after his best playoff series ever, at the age of 33! As does hobbers after going down 0-2 and momentarily probably furiously preparing his next post in this thread.

Portland 96-92 Sacramento | oneniltothearsenal: 15/10/2 & P-Nut: 39/1/8

We lose the Sacramento boys (oneniltothearsenal and P-Nut)! They were heavy underdogs, so losing in 7 games is no great failure. Also note how three of their losses were within 4 points. After the start of the season they had this should not be considered a disappointment.

We've got another Cafite match-up in the West, but hobbers would do very well to get through Washington in the east, while V.O. has an okay chance on paper.

Though this probably doesn't help V.O.:

Ryan Anderson (69 ovr) and Channing Frye (62 ovr) on Washington are also still injured for 3 and 1 game respectively, but both will play through it.

You have 3rd and 8th, but the top 14 picks are decided by a weighted lottery. So you could end up with the 1st and 2nd picks, or at worst the 6th and 11th picks.

Looking forward to 6 and 11 then.

Does Boston have any picks coming up in the next couple of years

I think it's time for some more stats after this season. If I forget, someone remind me.

For instance, we have a Cafite in 4th on the "most games injured" list, and we have #1 in both "Best Players Without a Ring" and "Best Players Without an MVP".

And I must be two of these.

How many Cafites have made it into the Hall of Fame yet is it still just the one?

There are people who won more than 3 rings who didn't make it, so it takes a lot more. You're in the Hall of Good, though, along with Ray Allen, Allen Iverson, Stobzilla, Glenn Robinson, etc.
Surprising. Thought it would be like WWE where everyone gets in eventually.

On the bright side, The Cub's rookie season is officially better (in both PER and Win Share) than The Cat's peak season.
Cub will be a better player it looks like. Already got him shagging around to keep the gene pool alive.
