Unfortunately each day is basically a new round of games.
There's also no injury proneness mechanic, unless it's hidden (which I really doubt since I'm in God Mode). Unfortunately for you there is a "how much do teams spend on health" mechanic, and you've consistently been on teams that are bottom 7-8 in the league there. Make better choices, jeez.
I was quite surprised that you missed out. You have quite a good team, and you personally had your best season yet. It makes no sense that you had a much somewhat better record last season.
Over the next off-season I am going to allow anyone who wants to move up to 50 rating points around (excluding height), but a maximum of +20 in any single stat, so that's something you can start thinking about if you want. You can also change your positions if you want.
Edit: I said "want" a lot in this post, but I refuse to edit myself.
I'm trying out stacked spoilers for the regular rounds. Spoilers on spoilers on spoilers. Let me know if the amount of spoilers is too damn high, and you would like me to go back to putting them one by one like some kind of asshole.
1st Round
Minnesota and @The Cat take a surprising lead against @altodevil's 1-seed Lakers. Same with @Salt Bailly's Washington Wizards over Atlanta in the East, and @Samid's Houston over New Orleans.
Well, those leads didn't last long.
And there they are again! At the same time, Seattle and @Solius have taken a very commanding 3-0 lead over @Dan's Utah. I don't think anyone expected much of a fight, but let's see if they can avoid the sweep. That also goes for Charlotte and @hobbers, who has been playing with an injury throughout the round so far. Can he save the Bobcats on his own? altodevil picked up an injury only 10 minutes into the game, but it seems like he'll be able to play through it for the rest of the round. It's bound to hinder him, though. Then again, he's playing against the Cat-less Timberwolves, so let's not show too much sympathy.
Well, that answers that! 39 points from the star wasn't enough to do it. We also have to say goodbye to Dan, and we might not be far from having to say goodbye to altodevil at this rate, who has decided to play through the injury.
The Los Angles Lakers stave off elimination for one more round, while @reelworld and the Phoenix Suns are through to the next round with surprising little difficulty. @Samid's Houston Rockets are in danger of letting New Orleans get back into the tie. Meanwhile in the East, the 65-17 Chicago Bulls have been crushed by the Boston Celtics. In their defence, their two best players were injured, but that's one less challenge for any eventual Cafite challengers.
We've got some thrillers on our hands. altodevil has led the Lakers to a 3-3 tie with The Cat's Timberwolves, and Samid is in danger of losing to New Orleans after having a 3-1 series lead. The Cat is still injured, but he's going to play the next game anyway.
The Cat is out! 3-4 was a much better result than I think anyone could reasonably expect for him and his new team. We've also lost Samid, but the same applies there. Maybe Solius can avenge him in the 2nd Round.
2nd Round
What's up with higher seeded Cafites dropping game 1 against their opponents?
And then evening it up for game 2?
That's more what I expected. Solius and the Seattle Supersonics should be able to take out the New Orleans Hillary Clintons Hornets. reelworld is doing very well so far with Phoenix, but realistically they shouldn't have much of a chance against altodevil and the Lakers either.
I should stop predicting things.
And Phoenix have taken the lead again! Is altodevil going to let reelworld take away his chance at a title in his first season in Los Angeles? Judging by his recent comments, he seems more interested in the weather and the vibe (and probably the nice facilities). Solius seems poised to move on to his 4th Conference Finals.
reelworld has done it! He's not the most flashy player, but then I guess he doesn't have to be to beat the least flashy player in the game. Except that player usually makes his team win anyway, so what happened here? Now we just need to settle who he'll face in the Conference Finals: Seattle or New Orleans.
Phew! Solius looked at the possibility of going out, said "nah", and promptly dropped 37 points. Though he scored 50 in a loss earlier, so I guess his teammates also helped a little bit. There he'll face reelworld and the Phoenix Suns. Yet again we have a Cafite v Cafite match-up in the West, and no sign of Cafites in the East. Come on East Coast Cafites, where's your pride?

Seattle and @Solius take the lead over Phoenix and @reelworld, as expected.
2-0! Is this going to be a quick series, then?
reelworld's team gets one back!
Another very even match-up, apparently. I thought Seattle were going to be superior to Phoenix, but it doesn't look like it.
Phoenix have taken the lead! Are they really going to reverse sweep the Champions, or are we going to get yet another 3-3 thriller?
They did it! reelworld and the Phoenix Suns are going to the NBA Final after defeating the reigning Champions in Solius' Seattle Supersonics. Maybe weetee and The Cat were more important than Seattle thought? Kevin Garnett didn't really contribute all that much in this series, that's for sure.
And Phoenix will face Philadelphia in the Final.
NBA Final
99-116, Philadelphia take the lead.
reelworld: 10/1/10
105-82, commanding win for the Suns.
reelworld: 4/0/7
107-86, another big win!
reelworld: 17/3/14
110-98, are we getting another reverse sweep from the Suns?
reelworld: 22/2/8
85-106, a big win for the 76ers this time.
reelworld: 10/1/7
93-101, and it's a thriller! It all comes down to game 7. It's either a new Cafite champion, or the first time in six seasons without one.
reelworld: 6/1/5
The Philadelphia 76ers are NBA Champions! reelworld and the Phoenix Suns did brilliantly to get this far, but couldn't go all the way. They have nothing to be ashamed of though, having defeated the two best teams in the West (Seattle and the Lakers), with two of the best Cafites on them.
Sure, but it'll be before free transfer and natural stat changes (which also means your player might change independently of your changes).
I've decided to change it a bit, but basically to re-cap: anyone who wants to will be allowed to move up to50 ratings points around. That means if you add a total of 35 somewhere, you have to deduct a total of 35 somewhere else. I will also not allow height changes or free throw changes. You can add or remove a maximum of 15 per attribute (but you decide how to distribute, so you can remove 5 (this didn't say 4 earlier, what do you mean? I'm good at maths) from one thing and 7 from another, and add 12 to something else, for example).
It's completely optional, and is not at all guaranteed to make your player actually better.

Season Awards
Lots of familiar faces in the teams. altodevil and hobbers in the All-Defensive 1st Team, with Salt Bailly making the 2nd Team. Solius, hobbers and altodevil all featured in the All-NBA 1st Team, with @Dr. Dwayne in the 2nd and BenitoSTARR and V.O. in the 3rd.
Congratulations to Solius for winning MVP! If you were curious, I can 100% confirm that hobbers was on track to win it until and actually well into his injury. In the end it allowed Solius to pull away. But at least hobbers won Most Improved Player (The Cat was runner-up for that award).
