Don't do it for all time. Very hard to judge super old players. Min debut date should be around 1950s

Perhaps teams should be 16 players, but pitch should be kept secret till after drafting is complete. Managers should draft to cover all conditions. It could be pace ODI to a flat Test....all a surprise.
I'd throw in T20 too, but that may a way too radical.
I like the idea, also Injury are part of the game so wouldn't mind those little surprise with certain player unavailable for next match etc.
Then we should do a Reality Draft.
- Managers will be assigned some regular (non star players) they need to build around.
- There will be some injuries during drafting.
- Pitch will be uncertain. ODI or Test only.
Etc etc.

I like this idea but I'm concerned the pool isn't big enough especially in a sheep draft where quite a few players will get blocked.

I want to play, but I haven't watched or followed cricket for last decade.
Neither have I (seriously that is). Just play for fun. Google helps.
You can pick older players just not the ancient ones.
So, what's the criteria for player selection?

Sheep drafts require too much time. If its a snake draft, I'm in
OK fair enough, however, I'm aiming for a medium difficulty fun draft.

I'm out as well. I had to pull out of the previous draft after it was underway (Apologies for that by the way!).
When are we planning to start this?
After the current final is over I guess.
Just waiting for the current draft to finish, I think the final is tomorrow.
