Icardi will struggle to score more than 5 goals. His time has come and gone and even in his prime his football ability was poor.

They're in the same predicament as us, wanting players out when those players are on high wages, it's always going to be a struggle shifting them on, specially when you're asking high fees.

Pass on all of them, unless they accept loans with options to buy.

We should definitely take advantage of some of those loans with options (not obligations) to buy! Do to them what others love doing to us!
 
Hard pass for me. If I was pushed to look at one player it’d be Thilo Kehrer on a loan with no obligation. Still only 25, a German international and can play centre back and right back. Very highly rated before he moved there. Seems to have regressed a lot since though.

We turn our noses at such players but truth is they would improve us considerably. Mctominay isn't even good enough for Scotland's midfield and we are saying he is as good as Paredes?! Old leg Matic looked a class above him last year, believe me being a sub option to Verratti is no shame. He would be our best midfielder by miles. In fact Herrera would be as well if he had stayed here.

Neither Herrera nor Paredes is better than Fred. Midfield is PSG's worst area and has been for years, that's why they are happy to get rid of basically all their midfielders except Verratti.
 
Yeah, none of them are worth it at all.

Edit: actually I rate Danilo Pereira. He would be good for a modest fee as a short term option.

Yes in comparision to their attack and defence it is weaker but playing midfield for PSG is a lot different than playing midfield for us.

Gueye, Wijnaldum, Herrera, Danilo, Paredes are all in and out rotating among themselves. Believe me Fred wouldn't make much of a mark there either

He has actually improved in that aspect and is probably better than Lukaku out of the box. But he is still not worth the price that he may cost in transfer fee and wages, not at nearly 30 years old.

A season loan without an obligation to buy if we are desperate for bodies at centre forward?

Seriously? Paredes is really poor. Signing him would be a total waste of money. And yeah, McT is probably as good as Paredes - and McT himself is not good enough for United. Being a sub to Verratti doesn't say anything about his quality at all. PSG would happily get rid.
 
Arnaud Kalimuendo is also available from PSG for around £20m. 13 goals on loan at Lens last season, could be a decent option for back-up striker.
 
Don't want any of their rejects. Would have taken Gueye a couple of years ago but not a chance now.
He'll be 33 in 2 months.

I've got nothing to add if you believe McTominay is as good as Paredes. He wouldn't even make the bench at PSG
