Yeah on PC.Are you on PC? There are settings you can change in a file to make the palette less cartoony.
Good to hear, I’ll fiddle around abit I guess.

Am I the only one who really doesn’t like the colour palette?
I’m really enjoying the game but I hate the fact enemies look like cartoony inflatables. I get that they’re desperately trying to distinguish it aesthetically from fallout but I can’t help but feel I’m playing this game on LSD.
How do you do this? Are you on PC? There are settings you can change in a file to make the palette less cartoony.
Which one did you not love?So far I’m loving this. Apart from the quite ordinary graphics, it’s really fun to play. It’s a combination of Fallout, Mass Effect and Deus Ex and I loved 2 out of 3 of those games.

So you're yet to experience Fallout.Fallout is the one I can’t stand. I’ve only played Fallout 3 and 4 but couldn’t get into either one, both really tedious to play.

You can actually still play the original ones, they're great. And, of course, New Vegas. Like Fallout 3, but better in virtually every metric.I’ve heard this a few times. I can’t imagine I ever will as Bethesda’s take on Fallout right now and probably for the foreseeable future is most likely going to resemble the model of 3 and 4 which I just can’t stand.

Nope, neither did I I actually couldn't have, either, I put no points in Leadership.Ah yeah... I never used a single one of those special companion abilities in 35 hours
Yeah the companions was one of the best things. Before playing I fully expected to not want any unless there was a dog but my god if somebody touched a hair on Parvati's head I would destroy all.
How do you do that? The best thing about the companions are their Commando-esque dialogue when you get them to perform their special, especially Vicar Max and SAM.
you unlock their specials once you hit 20 on the leadership abilities and can use them with C or V (on PC). They're well worth getting as they're insanely overpowered.
She's a bit too nice at times though. Just as I'm about to melt MacRedd into plasma dust she starts being all sweet with him. Leave the room or something Parvati, this man is about to croak it.
How do you do that?
Ahh ok ta, I was avoiding upgrading leadership but I'll get it up to 20.you unlock their specials once you hit 20 on the leadership abilities and can use them with C or V (on PC). They're well worth getting as they're insanely overpowered.
Yeah understandable, just disappointing. Maybe I'll start picking and choosing my side missions more, so it feels less like I'm just churning through the game.@VeevaVee i understand your gripes, but i think most of them are down to the game's scope/budget. It was made pretty clear from the start that we wouldn't get an exploration-driven sandbox here.
I've not played Fallout much but one of my memories of Fallout 3 was stumbling across cool and interesting things. That doesn't really happen in this. It just all feels a bit wooden.I enjoyed it, very much like a fallout game. However once I completed it, I had no interest in replaying it and sold it as a used game. Certainly a nice game worth playing, but nothing spectacular about it. 8.5/10 for me.

Same. I enjoyed playing it but nothing about it stood out enough for me to want to pick it back up to continue at this point. I think it's just a generic, risk-free game that'll barely be remembered when talking about/recommending games in this genre.Stopped playing this because I was busy and it's not pulling me back in at all
£20 on PSN at the minute - is it a good game? Worth it?
I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth it at that price. Very similar to a fallout game, mixed with mass effect. That woikd be the way to describe it. If you liked the fallout games then it's for you. It's a bit better the most recent fallout for sure.£20 on PSN at the minute - is it a good game? Worth it?
