The Open

care to elaborate?

Sergio can't putt, that was what cost him in the end, that's what always costs him not bottle. He almost birdied 18, 499 yards of sheer hell whilst Harrington found water twice and just about managed a 5, nobody called him a choker.

Golf is a bollocks of a game as everybody who plays will know too well and the way Garcia played the first 3 days he was bound to have a wobble at some stage. As soon as this happens to anybody people cite Greg Norman at Augusta and acuse them of choking, it isn't always like that.

Woods 3 shots clear is Tiger on his game, when he is, normal rules don't apply.

I agree with most of what you're saying but Sergio let the pressure et to him. That is choking in my book.

Wuote from the BBC:

Garcia admitted that his stuttering front nine cost him dearly.

"I was definitely a little bit nervous at the beginning and it's understandable," he said.

"If you're trying to win an Open championship and you're leading and you're not nervous, then you must be dead. I definitely struggled on the front nine."
