The Open Championship 2014 at Hoylake

 Who gives a feck? I've seen many pointless squabbles on here but this is right up there.

Look lads it seems look every year or two this Man Utd vs Manchester United comes up. Man Utd is no a slur to united several former players have said it on the tv and in person to me including george best in the old nasl in America. Because other supporters from others teams like the manure for the chants or songs dosent mean that in united speak it's wrong. Anyway I loved that he said it there personally he should have open up is jacket and there would be the new kit. Now get that masters son.

Congrats to Rory, alot of people I know hate him but I have loads of respect for him and he's only 25 more to come in the future

Aw, calling us pals despite never talking to each other because you took the bait.

Aw, does he not even talk to you? You just admire him from afar and hope he'll notice you if you're nice to him? It's all very touching.

Took the bait indeed... because that's not a tediously lame card to play in an internet forum.

Is Sir A1ex deaf? He clearly says 'Man Utd'.

Too obvious, once the video has actually been posted. But a good illustration to Zen of what wumming actually looks like.

Maybe I'm wrong though, if Rory has already been made a KBE... "Even though I'm a Man Utd, knighted, fan" perhaps?

Well quite, but I can't resist the chance to make somebody looking a tit by pointing out that they've sworn blue something is true when there is video evidence they're wrong. I'd have done the same if he'd claimed he'd said anything that he didn't tbh, I'm just a pedant!

Managed to watch all of the final day's play and it was a great watch. Rory's performance on the back-9 was superb and I loved how he handled the pressure and kept his composure as a lot of the time he was waiting for Fowler and Phil to take their shots. Showed a lot of maturity.

I was actually hoping Fowler would win, his putting is really good but he was a bit cautious with a few of his second shots and that cost him. Phil almost made a couple of miracle shots, good to see him show some form.

Very rare for someone to lead for 3 days in a major then fall 3 shots behind on the final day and still win. not sure Tiger managed that in any of his major wins???

Thought they should have finished the last 3 or 4 holes as a four ball. They made it a lot tougher on Rory the way it panned out.

Still got the fedex play offs and Ryder cup to come for McIlroy, plenty of golf left this year.
