The next Liverpool manager | Arne Slot Liverpool's Báld Fraud

It won't be easy to replace him. He truly is an elite manager. Nagelsmann, Alonso, De Zerbi all good candidates, but Klopp's playing style isn't easy to replicate.

I think they'll take a chance with Nageslmann if they can prize him away from the German NT job. From the same counterpressing school that Klopp adheres to, so more chance of continuity in regards to style.

The real dream has to be that Stevie Me and Lampard decide to try and make it work between them one last time and take the Dipper job as a doubleteam.

It’s far too early for Alonso but this is their version of taking over after SAF. Liverpool fans hate FSG for a reason so let’s see that play out in front of the world.

It won't be Stevie G, because liverpool aren't us.

But just imagine it was..

We could be going head-to-head with them for a new manager in the summer, which would be annoying as they will be first choice for most managers in that scenario.

In the words of one of their fav sons...I would love it if they gave it to Slippy G!

But somehow I can't see them being so incompetent in hiring the new coach, he (unless it's Emma Hayes!) will probably hit the ground running and be challenging for titles first season rather than floundering for 10 years!

Think De Zerbi.

Alonso extended his contract to 2026, and I think a big reason why we also extended Carlo till 2026.

Or maybe Emery?

What incredible news to wake up to

Unfortunately they'll 100% replace him with Alonso who's looking like a top class coach in his own right.

Nah, everytime a manager leaving coincides with key players just gone past their peak, there's an inevitable drop off.

It will happen here too.

Given the timing of the announcement and that Klopp says he told owner Fenway Sports Group in November of his intentions, one has to believe directors John Henry, Mike Gordon and Tom Werner already know who they want to replace Klopp. I suspect fans of Bayer Leverkusen and Brighton will be quite nervous. Xabi Alonso is the obvious frontrunner, but no opponent has won more praise from Klopp than Roberto De Zerbi…

They have known since Nov according to the the telegraph

You read some daft shit on the internet from time to time.

It'll take them years to recover from this.

Salah leaving in the summer aswell will hurt them so much given his uniqueness as a player.

Van Dijk has been really good this season but again in his 30s now so will eventually need to be phased out.

It's a very big job. Probably a better job for the manager after whoever replaces Klopp as Liverpool are going to need to effectively replace three big personalities all in a short period of time.

He’s spent an entire 14 months as a manager outside of a b team you plank
And breaking records with Leverkusen.

You'd have been keeping Rooney in the reserves till he turned 20. Probably also would have voted for Nixon over Kennedy if you could have.

Didn't realize you needed to serve a certain amount of time elsewhere before you could become a HC at Liverpool.

Let's instead take De Zerbi who is as much as an "uncertainty" as Alonso, who's less exciting, and who has less connections with the club as HC just because he has managed Sassuolo and Donetsk in the past. Makes total sense that.

"Way too early" is comical stuff

If Xabi wins the league in Germany he will be Liverpools new manager. I think he would be fantastic for them.

I’d like to think a top club would pick a manager with some pedigree behind him yes? Not only experience but the pressure of stepping up to a top club with high expectations.
anyway, I’m off to buy the best of Ten Hag at Ajax DVD, I hear it’s on offer alongside Potters journey from Brighton to Chelsea. Does anyone know how those proven managers who made a step up to massive clubs are doing?

Care to give a realistic example of that for Liverpool?
