Same. I actually bought that one, because I hadn't had a new one for years, and somewhat regretted it. Nothing hugely wrong with it but it looks cheapo. This season's is better.

Which is the reason 1998-00 is so highly regarded, despite being a mental ill fitting ugly kit with a zip and bonkers rubber piping!
I tend to associate kits with players from that season, the kit you posted I always think of as the 'Chicharito shirt'. The one with the black chevron was the 'Owen shirt', the white stripe down the back was the 'Ronaldo shirt' etc

The Everton shirt is okay, the new Brazil shirt, however, is the nicest I've ever seen in my whole time watching football. Its sumptuous.

It's virtually impossible to feck up a black kit, even Everton had a good one.
Do you people ever like one of our kits? I mean really. There's nothing wrong with them this season. They were fine last season and I'm sure they'll be fine next season. If you don't like them, don't buy them.
2008 was very good. And generally our kits are fine. Last year was terrible though. And I don't like dark colours on black. At least not how it looks in that pic.

Last year wasn't great but it certainly wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It was one of the worst for a while though.

The problem is, all our kits will look shit to some degree because of the massive sponsors logo. I mentioned here already somewhere that Nike missed a trick not giving us a black and gold shirt this year as it is 20 years since Umbro launched our first black kit - the Sharp Viewcam/kung fu strip. Why we deserve another year of gingham, in a design not hugely different from the 2011/12 away kit, I will never know.
