Always makes me laugh that fans come up with better designs with their 30 bob software than the actual manufacturers do with their multi million pound equipment
Why are we year after year subjected to the worst shirts in world football. If that mock up is accurate and I believe it's pretty close then somehow they will have managed to make an even uglier shirt than this years monstrosity.
It's the ridiculous collar that ruins it. I mean it's quite perfect and 'retro' looking apart from the daft chavy neck. Looks like it's straight from a Carbrini polo shirt.

I agree 100%. I thought it couldn't get any worse after the tablecloth... I was wrong. This looks worse than the worse Taiwanese fake rip-off kit imaginable. WTF are Nike doing?
I've seen other pictures of that shirt and it looks a hell of a lot nicer than that.

No one is going to button it up.. The collar would look much better than in the pic... all that assuming that its not a fake.
Without the ugly collar i just looks like a plain red cotton T-shirt. There are so many lovely shirt designs out there at the moment and so much potential with our simple colours and lack of set pattern (eg hoops or stripes) that I can't understand why we get crap year after year. When was the last time we had a really nice original home shirt? 95?

That looks like the kind of thing you get from a street seller in Turkey. I'd have to start listening to United on the radio if that was the official kit...but luckily it's quite blatantly fake.
As ugly as it is though it's better than this years one and the likely one from next year.

Our Gingham kit has grown on me this season. I like it.
This one was doing the rounds the other day but it looks fake.
It reminds me of the cars look when the manufacturer is testing them on their closed tracks. Large sections are blacked out with mock body panels.
They should bring back having a shield behind the club badge. Off the top of my head I can't think of a bad kit that had a shield. In fact some of my favourites, the 94 kits, the 99 CL kit, 06-07 kits, all had shields.
We're getting a pit crew, by the look of it.

The Chevrolet kits are going to be disgusting unless they drop the logo from them. There's no way you can make that logo look good on a football shirt.

All that's needed is a tidy, plain red shirt with a decent fit and no unnecessary gimmicks. How hard is that? Adidas almost always manage to do something like that for all their major teams (once they got over their weird skin-tight phase, that is.)
Also please, please not that godawful recycled plastic material that the current shirt is made from. No shirt could look good made from that tacky shiny crap.

This is an uglier logo.
And this was always one of the nicest GAA jerseys with the last two sponsors both having a nice plain red logo it looked great. That Hunky Dory one is a monstrosity.
I still maintain that the current one is the worst.
