7 points and 17 goal difference off 4th place. Last 12 W4 D4 L4.
At this rate finishing 6th will be difficult, he has to go ASAP and then several players can follow him in the summer.

Just put Nicky Butt in charge for the rest of the season (while working on a replacement). We won't get top four anyway.

Least we might have some mild curiosity to tune in each week.

The results might be forgivable if there were any signs that he's building something for the long term, but he isn't. He inherited the best goalkeeper. He's been allowed to buy two centre backs at the top end of the market (pre-van Dijk). He's been given the most expensive player in the world at the time of signing. He's been allowed to pay massive wages to Zlatan. He's been allowed to massively overpay for two of his favourites in Matic and Lukaku. He's been allowed to dump one of his own £30 million signings in exchange for the highest paid player in Premier League history. Yet he still moans that he wasn't given even more.

Despite the hundreds of millions and a full five transfer windows we have no discernible playing style at all, let alone a successful or entertaining one. He's a total fraud at this point. The emperor has been walking around Carrington naked since an appalling miss by a Celta Vigo striker let him off the hook.

It's obvious that the guy is a WUM. Wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be an opposition fan pretending to be a United fan for the kicks.

Don't know why people engage with him.
The fact that he has bothered to stay here and reply everyone after that dreadful game clearly proves he is a WUM and needs to be banned. The rest of the Mourinho arsehole dwellers have gone into hiding.

How can you say this after the man just won us a hard fought plucky point at home to Palace?

I've come to the realisation that Jose was never the right match for us. I was deluding myself by thinking otherwise. He goes against everything we stand for as a football club.

The sooner he's booted out the better, so we can get on with the rebuild.

Van Gaal tried to play football and wasn’t a coward. That’s will always work in his favour. He wasn’t a giant cockwomble either (not as much as Mourinho, at least).
This post shows clearly how bad we have become, us under LVG was a dire watch. But I agree he was at least not a giant twat.

To be fair to him, it was a good point (not a bad one like he said). Palace should have hammered us if they had their shooting boots on.

Same. At least we can admit it and not carry on some arrogant charade on the internet because we don’t want to be wrong.

I hate people who constantly change their votes after every game.

So do I tbf. Except when it’s obvious that people should have picked ‘yes’ a long time ago. I have stuck with mine and bar a miracle, I won’t be amending it. It’s the ones that changed from ‘yes’ to ‘no’ after a very minor improvement that baffled me.

He's basically full Moyes at this point.

Shit football? Check
Crap tactics? Check
Crap substitutions? Check
Blind loyalty to under performing players? Check
Rubbish results at home? Check
Constantly attempting to lower expectations? Check

Moyes didn't get hundreds of millions of pounds. I never thought I'd say it, but the comparison is unfair on Moyes.

How long can this bullshit continue? Mourinho OUT is a part of the answer and he has to go. How the club have allowed 400 million pounds in transfer fees for mediocre players, this lot on the highest wages in the PL and a manager behaving like a primadonna is something I just can not understand. He's hardly inspiring those around him or leading by example. Bring in Eddie Howe and keep Carrick and Mckenna. Play the young players and play prober football.
Eddie Howe , this place is insane after a negative result.

Let's give credit where it's due. Mourinho has done a brilliant job in this regard. It's indeed one of his best ever achievements.

LVG was a genuine coach who was a bit out of touch, but he was a decent man.

Jose is just an asshole who’s out of touch. Amazing how he thinks he will get the players on his side by slagging them off.

I just noticed that you guys have a negative goal difference. How in the world does that not get him fired?

At least with Moyes - well for me, anyway - I expected nothing but abject failure.

That's the harsh truth. In terms of the big picture, Mourinho is definitely the worst we've had since Ferguson retired.

That big picture being his own reputation (so higher expectations), the money he's spent, the style of football, the press conferences, him being a miserable cnut.

Bet you didn't think that would be the case after he won two (albeit minor) trophies in his first year?

I blindly thought he would have us back at the top table. I have to  at myself for that delusion.

I’m not really sure? You Bayern guys are unhappy and you’re still doing “ok”. Were negative

true

nothing endearing about him

@Anyone who changed their vote to ‘yes’ today, I’m really proud of you and am glad you’s have seen the light. The rest will convert soon. Amen.

Sorry, I'm still in favour of keeping him.

Yep. Van Gaal had a plan that didn't work. Mourinho cares about nothing more than getting 3 points on a Saturday to preserve his own reputation, and he can't even get that right.

Same here.

United fans are practically experts when it comes to identifying a failing manager. When it's over, it's over.

It's like history getting rewritten. Mourinho can be shite without making the managers before him any good.

LVG slagged his players off several times, here's one of them :

This is the game he put Ashley Young as a striker.

He probably does need to go. But if he does, I hope people don't think it's going to result in any sort term improvements in either performance or results.

Even if he's the wrong man, there's plenty more wrong men out there who can do even worse.

Some people didn't like LVG either. That's not really news.

Personally though I think it's night and day compared to Mourinho. Van Gaal was a likeable bloke to me and frankly at times, downright hilarious. His dive against Arsenal is bloody iconic.

Man, he needs more backing. Crystal Palace had a £75m striker, £36m and £37m wingers, £89m and £40m midfielders on the pitch today. How do you expect him to compete when Palace bought 10 experienced defenders in the summer and had a £52m midfielder on the bench? Mourinho deserves a pass today.
