You missed your 4 hour deadline to make your pick so Gio picked Djalma for you. @TheReligion is up now as Mike's time is up.
Sjor took longer. Please change it to Makêlélé. That really isn’t fair.
The policy (at least normally) is 4hrs pick unless you PMed a pick to the next drafter in the order plus Gio. If that pick is taken then you get another 4hrs. So there is no expectation you don't sleep, just an incentive to PM picks so we can keep up the pace.

I think there was confusion between you and Sir Scholes for some reason - clearly it was the latter who hasn't yet picked.

For the last dozen or so drafts the standard picking times are 4 hours with an additional 4 hours granted if you PM someone a pick in anticipation of not being able to respond within the timeframe when tagged.
I wasn’t sure if you were taking part after being offered up the final spot - hence the Djalma pick. However, happy for:
- you to choose Makelele
- For Zlatan to take Djalma (provided Isotope is happy)
- Zambrotta to be retuned to the pool
I hope the 'one full match' rule still applies. It will only dull the impact of the mavericks if mythical types like Sindelar, Moreno and Mazzola Sr start popping up all over the place. It's arbitrary given that we pick players on the basis of only one match in some cases, but I think it has served us well.

Normally we play the 1-full-game-on-video rule, however that wasn’t stipulated in the OP. My compromise position is to only include players from the post-1945 era. Any players picked will be judged on what they did from 45 on. That should avoid us getting inundated with pre-war players who will be hard to judge especially in a draft of this ilk. It may also open up a few more into the usual pool, the guys who we know plenty about but don’t quite qualify in other drafts.

You'll be picking before me so send it to me if you like. Bear in mind there's a reasonable chance whoever you're after will get picked before your turn, so I'd still try to get on periodically as people will carry on picking without you getting anyone after 8 hours if that happens.
