Interesting. We were a narrow offside call away from conceding as soon as Casemiro was removed.

Ten Hag isn’t swimming in quality options.

City were always going to up the gears in the second half, and our best chance to win was to get them on the counter.

You could not design a worse footballer for counter attacks than Antony. One footed, slow with the ball at his feet, too slow to make a decision and too often makes the wrong one, minimal token effort in pressing.

Terrible substitution and should have been Garnacho 10 times out of 10.

Again, it’s obvious that we have lost the control some time ago and need changes.
 
I know our options are somewhat limited but bringing McTominay on never makes us better.
 
Braindead from Casemiro but I think he should have came off earlier.

Disagree he is probably our most important player and we needed to hold on for the win. Keeping him on was the right call because drawing with Palace and then going to Arsenal wouldn't have helped us.

Unfortunately we drew with him on the pitch anyway but the game was so close it was the right call
 
Funny how people say let us sub Casemiro as if we were winning 3-0. Take him off and bring who? Clowns like Mctominay and Fred
 
He made the right decision keeping Casemiro on. We had a better chance getting the 3 points here and Cas should've done better.
 
Captain hindsights. Casemiro was a key defensive player, no good replacement on the bench and we were only 1-0 up
 
We didn’t get the second goal and so had to leave Casimiro on. It’s a painful lesson in not being cowardly in the second half.
 
I don't think it's hindsight to say Casemiro should have come off. The risk of a yellow was one thing, but also the extra energy spent assuming he would play on Sunday.
 
No way you can take him off at 1 0 when we couldn't keep the ball for 3 passes in the 2nd half. He must have had 15 dispossessions himself. He had to stay on because we couldn't score a 2nd
 
Thought Mctominay was pretty bad. He got the ball alot but didn’t really do anything productive with it.
 
A lot of things went wrong today.
Rashford looked unfit, I'd make a direct change for Garnacho and leave Wout at CF.
ETH loves some Bruno on RW, wtf is that.
McTominay - I need to see TIFO/The Athletic analysis to understand what was the idea.
Eriksen looked gassed and still played 80'. He will 100% start against Arsenal.

I can understand why he wanted Casemiro to stay, just didn't work out.

He has 2 subs which you would bring on/start sometimes. Ones a fecking donkey (fred) and the other is an 18 year old which yeh is going to be great but isn’t yet, wtf he supposed to do?
 
We can’t kill games off so we don’t have luxury of taking Casemiro off. I’ve no idea what idea behind bringing Mctominay on was as he was all over the place but we aren’t exactly blessed with great options.
