Welcome to Manchester United Erik! Can we please immediately agree that top 4 is the most we should be hoping for next season? Let's not hound the poor lad immediately. Title challenge pretty much impossible and if he does somehow achieve it he will have overachieved, it SHOULD NOT be expected. Long-term appointment, patience is needed. The main thing I'm hoping for is to see the players become more familiar with his tactical demands by the end of the season, since it is quite complex and different from what the current squad is used to.

I’m sure Ten Hag will have presented a very detailed long term vision and his immediate strengthening of the squad. The man is obsessed. This will be very much Rangnick, Fletcher, Murtagh and Ten Hag singing from the same hymn sheet. Sure Van de Sar & Fergie will have been closely consulted as well the past months. Expect a DoF type appointment as well soon and United very much going down the Cruijff way a football club should run, finally I would say.
