Anyone having a flutter on the tennis this week? I'm no expert (would welcome any informed opinions). I had money on Serena to win the whole thing just before she took on Venus, got 6/5 so feeling fairly confident about that. Think you can still get something near even money 5/6 or thereabouts and I think that represents great value given her quality and the lack of competition.
Tempted to put some money on her to pull this game back now, currently 0-1 down to Azarenka... Can get her at evens.

Kovalev came in last night so just Campbell and Garcia to finish it off next weekend. Patience is a virtue in this game! Sadly the Chudinov fight was called off so that has been removed from the acca - great shame because that was a lock.
Going forward I will be balls deep in the following:
Wlad to beat Fury @ 2/7 - I think these odds may get better though because Fury will talk himself into the fight. Regardless it's basically free money - Wlad is far and away the best heavyweight on the planet - he fights smart against smaller guys and uses his size, but when he's against a big guy (like Pulev for example) he can fight aggressively with great effectiveness. Alongside Ward I think he has the most powerful P4P jab in boxing.
Golovkin to beat Lemieux @1/14 - I have requested KO odds for the fight and will be all over them provided they are @1/5 or better. Golovkin murders anyone his own size, especially someone as come-forward as Lemieux.
Canelo to beat Cotto @ 4/9 - Canelo has become underrated since his loss to Mayweather. People forget that he had to come down to 150.5 pounds to make that happen - he was basically as zombie and not much should be read into that. This fight will be at 154.5 - 155 which is a weight he has made many times. Cotto is a plastic middleweight champ - he beat Martinez to win the belt when it was clear that Martinez' knee was absolutely destroyed when he walked into the ring, then he weight drained Geale and easily beat him. I see Canelo winning handily, he may even stop Cotto.
Is anybody having a dabble on Goodwood today? Thinking Dutch Connection in the 3:10, but read the ground doesn't suit him.
After a few days with no real bets I've shot some money on horses today, differenct meets/races though. I have no idea really, it's just to have some interest for the day. I did look at Dutch Connection @3.50 but wasn't sure of the value due to the ground, thought an outsider may be a better pick with the odds. Plus Bet365 are offering more places on EW bets for televised races so there could be something there.
Thanks, good info. Most bookies are offering money back if your horse doesn't win in the first, punting on Elhaame or Sennockian Star for me. Same boat as you, just betting for fun today, very small stakes.

How much did you have on it, anything decent? I'm off to Ascot this weekend so I'm fishing for any tips because my knowledge is awful. I'll post in the horse racing one as well.

Yeh cashed out on a nice bet. Had Jets -3.5, Miami -4 and Green Bay money line. Don't trust Miami the way they have been playing so took the safe route.

Fury has no chance -- better off playing the lotto.
They're throwing their money away, Wlad should be 1/10. I think 1/4 is one of the best bets of the year, absolutely mortal lock. I don't think there's a single aspect of the game where Tyson has an advantage. You can get evens on Tyson to be knocked down, considering he's been down about 4 times in his pro career (including a trip courtesy of the light punching Steve Cunningham) I think that's the bet if you want a touch more juice.
Think it'll go the distance? I'm very doubtful, I think fury will go down from one decent shot
I think Tyson will hit the canvas, I wouldn't want to bet on him being knocked out though.
