It's Ours For Keeps
Not the film with the crap ending, or another word for prostitution, but the shit rapper.

Has anyone seen his recent video? I has the misfortune to see it earlier, he takes himself more seriously than anyone else in the world...and has a tattoo of a tear coming from his eye.

As everyone knows, men don't cry, so The Game is basically boasting about his homosexuality by this very act.

"You got beef with Dre, you got beef with me" - oh no, that's terrifying...beef with some sort of rapping crybaby. Give over you big fanny

The Game is excellent lyrically though. Check out his old mixtapes and his song 'dreams' for example. His new album is quite good although the production could be better.

I thought they had beef with dre

You know for sunday dinner like

The game could have you davo

If The Game reads this he'd probably write a song about "popping a cap in my ass" or summat.

The daft cnut

The tear is probably a modern day version of the 'borstal spot'. The Game is a great big gay, he is in fact 50's butt-plug.

in australia, child molesters get forcibly tattooed with the teardrop by other inmates in the joint - it's a way of saying "please beat this guy's ass."

so you may not be that far off.

The Game's fecking shite

His delivery - or "flow", as we gangstas designate it - has no force, and his lyrics are shite.

He is good at freestyling it's true, but who cares about that?

Freestyling is the best form of hiphop. And his lyrics for the majority of the songs excluding club tracks are excellent. His flow is excellent, songs like 300 bars show that.

Yes, he name-drops far too often. The beats, however, are gold. This makes it possible to listen to. just barely.

Well, I think he's fecking shite. His voice has no power...

Compare him to rapper with a genuinely great voice, like Ice Cube...Game sounds like the old man down the pub who's had his larynx removed.

I reckon the Game is crying because he has just been buggered relentlessly by some other crap rapper called Big Mamma or summat.

Tear drop tattoos
The teardrop tattoo is typically a prison tattoo. Traditionally placed next to the eye, either left or right, this striking mark makes its wearer appear to be permanently crying.

While many prison tattoos are ethnicity specific, the teardrop is seen equally across the board.

Originally, in North America, the teardrop meant that the wearer had committed at least one murder. In some places, it meant that the wearer had committed a murder in jail. This tattoo then had the power to warn away other convicts, and establish an image for the wearer, of self-defense that is imperative in the prison system.

This symbol has evolved to represent family or friends of the prisoner who have died while the wearer is incarcerated. This is a very different implication, as it represents true grief, rather than an morbidly ironic gesture. When the tear drop represents the death of a loved one, the tattoo implies that the wearer is unable to cry real tears while in the prison system, and must use ink, instead.

Sometimes described as meaning ‘a mother’s son is gone’, the teardrop represents death in both North American examples.

In Australia, the teardrop has an entirely different meaning. It is forcibly marked on convicts who are accused child molesters. This mark is then used as a justification for the beatings and abuse of the wearer. The teardrop in this case, represents the tears that the convict will cry, eternally.

I guess we disagree, Ice Cube is a completely different type of rapper to Game. Lyrically wise Game is much better then Ice Cube, no doubt about it. Flow wise you are right Ice Cube has more punch to him.

that may be true davo but at least the game doesn't take it up the arse from his missus

I don't see how you can possibly say Game is better - or close to - Ice Cube lyrically. Game is an average lyricist - even people who love his music usually admit that. Ice Cube is one of the greatest (and most underrated) rappers (flow, presence, lyrics) ever. Saying they are different "types" of rapper is meaningless...Ice Cube was instrumental in inventing West Coast rap. He went from gangsta stuff on NWA to political stuff on Amerika's Most Wanted back to Gangsta stuff with Westside Connection to a mix of stuff afterwards, and he has released an album this year which is absolutely brilliant. Game came through as a "gangsta" rapper from Compton whose hero was Eazy fecking E! He wanted to branch out and wanted to be a lyricist - how is he a different type of rapper to Ice Cube? Ice Cube has at least 3 classic solo albums plus unbelievable group albums with NWA and Westside Connection - all these albums stood out at a time when rap was great. Game is failing to stand out at at a time rap music is rubbish.

As a rapper his flow is average and lyrically he is ordinary...his first album was carried by incredible production. In fairness, since then he has improved with every mixtape and feature he's done (he may get a bit outshone by his own artists on BWS Volume 1 but that is one of the best mixtapes to come out this year). He's had a pop at most of his old group and come out on top, and his new album is meant to be very good...but to compare him to the best is crazy.

I feel about 14...

Cube burst onto the rap scene as something special with NWA not just in terms of his charisma but as an all round mc. Game's only interest was that he had the backing of 50 Cent and Dre. 'The Documentary' proved that if you have an album full of dre beats and claim to have been shot a few times, you can sell 5 million records.

Game still spends far too much time name dropping, Dre this Dre that, Jay this Jay that, and other than in diss tracks tends to say very little. He's a rubbish story-teller which Cube is exceptional at.

Cube's Greatest Hits is in my truck right now. He fecking slaughters The Game.

"Even saw the lights of the Goodyear Blimp and it read Ice Cube's a pimp..."

I just wanna add that Ice Cube ghostwrote most of the N.W.A. songs and a lot of stuff on Dre's chronic album.

Ice Cube is nowhere near the best, and Eazy E, if it wasn't for him there would be no n.w.a, and cube wouldn't even have the success he does now as he admitted the other day. The Game, if you look past the club bangers is very talented, his old mixtapes are excellent, his new album is very good and there is no way he will get outshone by anyone else on The BlackWallStreet Mixtape. Ice Cube lyrically is nowhere near the best, there were far better lyricists then him before as well as now, Big L, Rakim, Guru, C.L. Smooth, Masta Ace, Nas were all much better then him, Papoose is better then any of them. Ill agree with you he was underrated and his flow was excellent but to call him the best is crazy.

Which is also why Game made sure his second album had not a single Dre production on there....
