Is McAllister usually at least half this good for Brighton, and we’ve all been overlooking him?

He's been one of their best players this season. Still probably not as good as he's been at this World Cup though

De Paul will have some bruises in the morning.

Are some really saying the French team may have been poisoned?

I don't want to give any credibility to those claims unless they come from the horse's mouth. Regardless, there is something in the air surrounding this final that will make people look back and make comparisons with 1978 (and the several controversies that have been talked about since).

How isn't this a yellow card. Clear shirt pulling against Coman and slowing down the counter attack.

Wait, what? It's ridiculous. The history books will say Argentina World Champions, Messi player of the tournament but it's all built on a lie. By starting 1-0 up the opponents have to expose themselves to the counter. It leaves a bad taste but I suppose this isn't the first time in sports it has happened. Heck, Eddie Hearns boxers get the home decision robberies on a weekly basis.

No they don’t, not that early. The French were absolutely gash before and after the goal. It took them a while into the second half to impose themselves at all.

Argentina, penalty or no, are well-deserving of their lead, IMO.

Edit: ok, this’ll feel different if it ends 2-1

Poor spectacle, and next 20 minutes is going to be abysmal in terms of time wasting and play acting. Disappointing end to a good tournament.

I don’t think anybody has been over looking them? there’s a reason why they were doing so well recently
