The Film That Scared You The Most?

First time I saw The Ring (US version), I was minding my aunties house with my back to the wall on the couch right next to the open back door as the dogs were outside and that little horrible twat who comes out the TV was creeping about and I could hear winchimes going outside then one of the dogs came bounding in and I screamed like a little girl, then booted it up the arse. I was 23 but proper freaked out but I think it was also the setting which added to my horror

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, the scene with the clowns killing his bike...I never found clowns amusing, but I truly hated clowns ever sense

Plus, when I was a kid, I was afraid of E.T.

Not a big fan of horror myself.. But heard some creepy things about Event Horizon..

I watched that with my wife with all the windows and doors open in the middle of the day.

Right after the movie finished the fecking phone rang!!! Neither of us would answer it lol.

2 films I hated when I was younger were Willow (the opening sequence with the wolf thing frightened me) and also Little Shop of Horrors. Pretty odd really considering I watched Aliens when I was 7 but oh well :)

Apart from that, nothing scares me nowadays as I know its all fiction.

For shock scares; Juon, The Eye, The Descent.

But for real fear - that queasy sense of dread; Mulholland Drive, Don't look now, Blair Witch, Lost Highway.

when i was a kid Salems Lot and The Omen scared the absolute Bejesus out of me, especially salems lot...the bit where dannys brother floated to the window and was tapping on it to get let in saying "danny..danny"...slept with some rosary beads beside me for a good while and when it got dark and i was in my bedroom Id never open the curtains to look out just in case.

IT was a total disappointment, the book was brilliant, gave me an unreal fear of storm drains and grates, then the film came out I couldnt wait to see it, total pile of poo is comparison.

Hitchcock´s The Birds, must have been somewhere between 5 to 10 years old was lying on the floor totally engrossed and scared shitless when me mum who was ironing said something to me I rose horizontally a couple of inches off the floor screaming me head off.
