I feel sorry for Lewis I wanted him to win but Kimi deserves this more then anyone no luck for the last 3 or 4 years. Just 2 more laps left come on Kimi

we loose to russia,
we loose to south africa
hamilton bottles it

oh the joys of being english

LOL!
Was thinking the same.
But it does you lot good: a 'non-winning' Englishman is a much nicer chap by far. Less arrogance, more pints, more laughs. ;)
And it's just sport, after all.

from eurosport
"Hamilton seventh. There's always next year Lewis."

i bet he will be shit next year...

 @ Mclaren, Hamilton and Alonso.
A fitting anti-climax to the rubbish feud throughout the year.

I feel really sorry for Lewis done better then I thought he would but If there is one person that deserves this its Kimi.

Kimi's done well but Hamilton threw it away in the first 5 minutes.

One possible comment could be ‘what goes around comes around’.
You copy our car? You win nothing in the end.

God exists.
And He likes Formula 1 and He is just and rightful.

Well done Kimi. Great season this one. 3 drivers fighting it out till the very end. Doubt it'll happen again any time soon. Would have been better had Hamilton won it though.

I wouldn't want to be in that Mclaren garage right now, it must be cooking in there. Who could've 'thunk' it?

Anyone else notice Ron Dennis didn't mention Alonso once in his interview just then, interesting.

Just to sum things up: Hamilton should have made 4 points in the last two races and he made 2....

He shitted in his underwear. But the real losers are the McLaren staff.
Bunch of clueless idiots.

One positive to take from this race and the last race is that Hamilton will have learnt a lot about what it actually takes to win a Championship.

The Hollywood is not always needed.

A bit of perspective here please, he is a rookie, his FIRST F1 season, he has been amazing this year and will be champion sooner or later, mark my words. And just for the record no one has ever been crowned champion in their first season, ever.

I feel McLaren have chucked this away in the last few races. Their tactical decisions could have been a lot better at certain times but then it's easy to say that in hindsight without all the details.

Ron Dennis has just said they picked up 10 seconds with the 3-stop strategy.

Anyway, congratulations to Kimi Raikkonen, I guess he deserved it the way he has driven in the last half of the season. Plus he kinda deserves it after missing out twice previously - well done to him.

Unlucky for Hamilton but he shouldn't be too disheartened he's had an exceptional season and definitely looks like a future champion, as did Kimi in previous years, he will have his time soon no doubt. Look forward to seeing him racing next year without all the sensational hype - he will have learnt so much in this first year and the hurt now will only set him up and make him a better driver in the years to come.

Alonso ... What now for him!?

Good season though nevertheless, I'm sure we'll see the rivalries back again next year!

You could clearly see Hamiltons inexperience when he lost positions at the start and then immediately tried to retake them, and this lead to him losing even more positions when he went off the track.

By reading my words with more attention, you'd notice that I'm blaming the McLaren people.
Hamilton's really been amazing and I imagine a brilliant future for him. A real talent.
Sure is that once you get to two races from the end and just 4 points to collect, your mouth waters and you can't really be happy with 'well done for a rookie'.

Just hope Alonso goes back to Renault and we have three teams challenging for the title next year.
