The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

Nothing would please me better than to see Everton and Palace go down this season and for Liverpool and Spurs to finish mid-table.

Needless to say I'm not impressed by Everton :smirk:

I will wait to claim they are shit as they will probably manage to get a draw again that none expected. Remember the City game? We should bloody beat them big though with goals from Lukaku and Fellaini!

What do you have against them? I think everyone would like Liverpool to finish mid table here, but the same with City, Chelsea and Arsenal more than the other teams you mention.

Lukaku's gonna tear that side a new one! So long as Fellaini doesn't give away any late penalties, we should destroy this Everton side. Can't wait for Sunday now.

Everton are a pointless side. They're beginning to become my new Aston Villa.

I just hate Spurs and Everton and Palace for jettisoning their manager after 4 games. Clubs like that deserve everything they get.

Everything is on our side. They have the tough away game in europe so we should be much more fresh for the game having played tuesday and also at home. We have very good home form with 9 goals scored and 0 conceded so far. Lots of players in good form. Only downside is Pogba being injured, but if Fellaini plays and perform it should be no big problem. We also know that we failed to beat them last season so we will be really fired up for this game no doubt.

Great to see Atalanta do well in their return to European football. Same goes for AC Milan.

As for Everton - this game once again proves the fact that despite spending big this summer, Koeman's business is far from impressive.

Interesting that the Italian sides have struggled in champions league, but done really well in the Europa league this half. Although I guess main reason is the difficult fixtures they had. Will be interesting to see Arsenal.

Anybody else think that Young Boys Bern is a really really gay name for a club? :wenger:

Over to you Arsenal. Restore some English pride in the Europa League!

Simple really. Serie A has a lot of good midtable teams on par with England, Spain and France. Juventus and Napoli are a lot better than the rest, but even they are a long way behind Real, Barcelona, Atlético, Bayern and PSG.

You can't beat names like FC Hard, Start, BK Forward, Middelfart, Odd, Wormatia Worms, 7 of September, Santiago Morning, Go Ahead Eagles, Brommapojkarna, Semen Padang. Loads of great names out there.

Roma are strong as well and did well against Atletico. That defeat can be really costly for Napoli. If City beats them twice it will be really difficult for them to qualify.
