I think the ones that count are domestic leagues (top division only), domestic cups (FA Cup, League Cup and the equivalents), CL, EL (and the equivalents, but not the Intertoto).
Supercups, Charity Shield, that sort of thing - doesn't count.
For the sake of argument, I'd say that Brazilian state championships (which do not count as league titles), should probably count as trophies. They're proper competitions, some of them easily as prestigious as, say, the FA cup - if not more so.
Already discussed - the top flight of any country counts.

And yes - not as leagues (for that category), but they could (and should, I says) count as trophies (for the 8 & 9 conundrum).

Well they are also superb, but I'd claim that Davids-Zidane < Rui Costa-Batistuta.

And they will be correct.
I think so too. Zidane is an all time great and Davids is one of the best midfielders of his era. Batigo isn't all time and most don't rate Rui Costa incredibly high here.

Zidane is not that shoed in on here. He gets lot of flak too. Davids in ironclad...but then RC/Batigol is just too sweet.

That is a good pick @Aldo I do loves me some Stam.
The Rui Costa & Batigol combo must get top marks in the "proven" category, though - not that I think that should be too significant. But they're not only proven - they're a proven goal scoring partnership of rare quality.
We had Stam in our list but knew it he wasn't gonna last for long. 
This draft is gonna be the toughest i have taken part in. Even Auction drafts have been easier to plan though more dependent on luck.

Looks like I'm alone here in that thought, but I guess we'll see. I do agree Davids-Zidane are more vote winners. Doesn't mean their better or worse, I just think they will win more votes

By the way just to clear about the WC runners-up category, the player should have never won it as well, right? So someone like Thuram or Ronaldo doesn't qualify for that, I assume?
