Seek help Sir.
Says the man with ‘Ronaldo is greater than victory’ as his tagline.
Aside from all the bitterness and the fact that he is a total prat, I wonder if his mental health is going to be ok with this kind of end to his career. He's been the star of every club he's been at since around 2006 and I don't think he's the kind of guy that copes well with being ignored or criticized.
A battle for 3rd place would be apt and a wonderful penultimate match. It's funny how a year ago I would have said Messi was the one who was having a fall from grace and Ronaldo would prove himself the GOAT at this World Cup.
It's the end of an era unless Argentina and Portugal meet in the final. Although it's more than likely going to be England and Brazil for me, it would be fun to see these two old bastards going head to head one final time before they bugger off into the sunset.
Ronaldo's next Piers Interview.
"I don't respect the World Cup"
"I don't respect OT1214. They say good things about Ten Hag but not about Ronaldo. Ronaldo won game today. Put Ronaldo poo in Ramos' boots. Ramos use poop boots to score. Goals belong to Ronaldo, will report this to FIFA and I know they will see the truth."Santos just proved Ten Hag’s point, to the whole world
I am picturing it right now. Messi scores a hat trick and Ronaldo subs himself off, flapping his arms around in anger and leaving the stadium.A battle for 3rd place would be apt and a wonderful penultimate match.
In joy obviouslyReports he was crying walking down the tunnel at full time.
It's actually sad. I think he emotionally has not matures despite his age.

He just can't handle not being the man anymore, in a way you have to feel sorry for him while acknowledging he has always been a bit of a cnut.
He will claim all goals scored by Ramos today as Ramos was the one to replace him in the starting line up."I don't respect OT1214. They say good things about Ten Hag but not about Ronaldo. Three weeks later. "I don't respect FIFA..."
Keep moving the goalposts when presented with facts. Did you forget 98 to 2001. Where we won the trebble and 3 elp titles in a row. That's our most dominant period.No. I don't act like we never won before or after him - that's your hang ups. I act like he was a catalyst for a dominant period for United because he was. He was the star man in said dominant period and we were better during said period (hence dominant) than we were before and won more then than what we won after. United's dominance is directly correlated with him developing into best player in the world.
Stop trying to have conversations (I remind you - you quoted me), in which you try to tell people what they are trying to say - instead read and understand what's being said. Cantona having an immediate impact as a 25/26 year old and Ronaldo having to develop as a 17/18 year old is not something I should have to explain in a conversation about football, for feck's sake. A catalyst for something doesn't have immediate impact as a prerequisite.
Those stats prove that every season Ronaldo had at United were good. Again, stats don't happen in a vacuum. I assume you're an adult, so I expect you to be able to contextualise things. Ronaldo came to United a teenager, and for the first 3 years, he wasn't a starter. Marcus Rashford, for example, in the season he broke out - scored 12 and assisted 2. Eden Hazard joined Chelsea as a 21/22 year old and as a starter for them.
I don't want to engage with you further because more often than not - exchanges on this forum tend to lead to me gaining/learning something or are, at the very least, amusing. I don't believe any of this will be possible with you, so I wish you a good day.
It's almost impossible to keep your sanity and stay at the top for so long in any competitive profession without having that stubborn streak and never-say-die attitude. Some need more time to accept reality. I just hope when he comes to terms with it he'll apologise for being an utter prick during this phase.feel sorry for him not understanding that there does come a time where he wont be the best in the world and he has to adapt with that. He still thinks he is the best, this is not a “great mentality”, this is denial. He was on top of the world for 20 years. It’s time to adapt to being in decline and close to retirement. What’s so annoying about him is his body language, must be annoying his team mates too
I think it can be expected for some to revel in what has been a disastrous and embarrassing month for Ronaldo after that interview.Even when he doesn't play he gets more attention from you lot and countless others on social media than anyone else. The obsession has reached disturbing levels of weird and unhealthy, and that's coming from someone who can't stand the man and is delighted to see him leave United

Makes me think though, how damaging the earlier parts of his career have been to lead to this absolute meltdown.
Seems the absolute magnitude of the spotlight he has been under all these years has ended up doing a lot of harm. What's he gonna be like when he simply stops playing?
I could be overthinking it but you have to wonder what goes through a guy's head when you are lauded as the best player ever for several years, and then what happens when this rapidly starts to go away.
Real Madrid legend. Not United legend.he’ll never apologise. Come to think about it, he might never even come to terms with it.
still a legend. Annoying, but a legend.
