Film The Christmas Movie Thread

Finished it - still left wondering what the fuss was about.
Then you've missed the whole message of the film!
Love it. A beautiful beautiful film.

I get the message, I just didn’t see what the fuss was about. Not a film I’d watch again,
Fair enough,
One of my go to films at this time of year.
Merry Christmas.

I just don’t get it as a Christmas film - depressing as feck. Still got 30 mins left, but I definitely won’t be adding this to any Christmas Eve tradition.
Maybe wait until the fecking thing ended before judging it! It's a classic for good reason!

Just watched A Sunburnt Christmas. A very nice new Australian Christmas film.

We watched Muppet Christmas Carol and The Holiday tonight. Love Actually tomorrow.

Not Christmas themed but Oliver Twist seems to be on every Christmas and one of my favourite movies.

The obvious Christmas themed ones that I like are Home Alone 1 and 2 and Jingle all the way.

Watched Gremlins for the first time I a while yesterday, too.

My favourite Christmas films generally have very little to do with the holiday season itself.
Stalker, Godfather, The Mirror, Dr Strangelove are generally the films I've consistently watched during the season.

The plot looks the exact same as one of the movies from back in the day doesn't it?

Will still watch it though.
Yeah I was just watching that thinking isn't this the Santa Clause 2?

Finally Santa is taking on PC darwinism!

Please, this cannot be allowed here. For gods sake it’s not even Halloween yet, this is not right. I know this poster has a longstanding history here, but this is not right. I can't be the only one that thinks this?

Just put on the classic jingle all the way. Fantastic acting from Arnie.
