Haven't they been third in form and first in goals scored since Conté arrived? Arsenal had been pretty decent minus the last two weeks.
Not having that at all. Conte inherited a Spurs side that looked totally dead just like United do now. Even hit a terrible rough patch in January and still has them in the drivers seat for 4th now.
Your squad is miles more talented in most areas of the pitch than Tottenham’s is. He would’ve sorted you out and heading into next season in good shape.
No he wouldn’t. Spurs dressing room is quiet and there are no big egos. Imagine conte to manage pogba, ronaldo, shaw, bruno and our undroppable captain Maguire, all of these players are talented but lazy. And there is no media pressure at all for spurs made it easy for him.
Conte would certainly solve short term problems but not a good fit for long term.
We need proper rebuild and some major clear out in summer.

We got very solid squad, the only problem is our board and that we didn't have a top manager since Sir Alex retired.
If we was to get Conte, we 100% would have been in top 4, we would have more money and more option for actually strengthen the squad next year, and he would have challenge the title exactly next year, not after 5 or 6.
On top of that there is a very good chance that he would have won the title in 2-3 year time. For who exactly you can claim can do the same?

It's all about momentum at the right time in the battle for 4th, there's always so many drop points and stumbling over each other. I think Spurs look a good bet right, but there's awhile to go, maybe Arsenal can sort themselves out.
Spurs will finish 4th because Kane and Son are playing well. There is no over-achievement by Conte in getting Kane and Son to score some goals. They would have been comfortably beaten today by an opponent with decent finishers.
Arsenal will implode. They have a dubious character, little experience and are in a false position due to the mid-season break/fixture manipulation etc. They may drop to 7th when their accumulation of outstanding , difficult away games brings a normal weighting to their outcomes.

Don't know why Arsenal fans are being this negative. Spurs are 3 points ahead having played a game more. They recently lost to us at OT. The race for top 4 always sees lots of points dropped even by the team that gets it.

No one is out, one of Kane's dodgy ankles could blow a valve next game and he is out for the rest of the season. Or if Arsenal do over Spurs at WHL, and it doesn't matter how, dodgy VAR decision, crazy ping pong in the box deflected goal, w/e gets the job done.
Because we have lost momentum, we've lost quality out the first XI with the injuries to Tierney, Tomiyasu & Partey, & we have more difficult fixtures to come than those we have just faced.
We knew the squad wasnt great, we were relying on staying injury free & keeping the first XI intact for the rest of the season, which was always a massive gamble. Its not worked out it seems. All the while Spurs have found form, some consistency, & the attacking unit is playing as well as it has all season.

Conte took over Juve when they were 7th without wining title for 7+ years. Out of nowhere (with current Spurs DoF Paratici helping) , he created the Juve side of 2010s - won 3 titles - these did not happen because he spent money - he developed a young Pogba coming on free-he also gave 2nd life to Pirlo and he brought in Barszagli on free
He also ended Juventus dominance of 8+ years, when he went into Inter & made them winning title. Conte also was the one who got the chelsea going again post-Mourinho era , giving washed up Moses a 2nd life as RWB
Conte doesnt ruin clubs - he weeds out bad, brings out the best and if given more chance - can help the club dominate the league
For Spurs, its all down to Levy - if he backs Conte, there is no reason for Spurs to actually start winning things. United had a great opportunity to land him - he would have dragged the team to CL and in under 2 years would have won the title with United resources. Thank Goodness, for United decision making

Agreed. Us failing to beat Everton has basically shut the door considering we have to play Chelsea and Liverpool. Knew Arsenal were gonna falter but I wondered how we would shape up after the international break. We're going badly as well.
