Yes, Mancini's is a sublime piece of skill but its only from 6 yards and hardly takes your breath away. Shevchenko's goal was better than that.
 
One goal that has not been mentioned has to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's for Manchester United in the 1999 Champions' League Final.


Apart from the obvious reasons it was an amazing strike of the ball - it came at him from a header and he just stuck his boot up. Classic.

It was a fantastic goal which I doubt any other player could have done, and I am sure Solskjaer could not have repeated it himself.
 
My favourite is definately Roberto Carlos's vs Italy in the 1970 WC final. Whilst the result wasn't in doubt at the time, to tear the Italians apart so completely on the greatest Footballing stage of them all is somthing quite unique.
