The irony is that we have been moaning , for a new Eric Cantona for years now,and guess what
We have fount out that we cannot afford him

Where are the Inceys, the Hughiess and the Bruces which used to do the dirty work so that Cantona could sparkle?

Our defense moan, that the midfield is not doing their(defender's)job well, and life goes on with Manutd's first 11 at the back ,winning the balls for Mr (2000 yrs old)Blanc and co.
The morale of the story is this.
Strenghten the defense and you will see the real Veron.
After all we have already seen encouraging improvement whenever the defense showed some solidity.

Veron is not the new Cantona. They are completely different players. Compare him to Cantona is doomed to failure.
Surprised to see you use the defence as an excuse for Veron's performance. Our defence is playing very well so far this season, so let's see if Veron can perform his real standard consistently this season.
