Good luck to Mkhitaryan. He, at times, carried us in Europa last season and played a big part in bringing us back to where we belong. This season would have been a lot more grim without his work last season. I hope the fans will appreciate him for that.

Shame he didn't work out here, I wanted him from shaktar and was nearly devo when I thought the scousers were going to get him back then.

The feck I do! He's always wanted to play for them...so they'll be waiting a long time before he does.
The thing is, everyone sussed him. Get tight on him,give him a kick here and there and he doesn't fancy it. He'll fit right in
Really like the guy, feel sad that we shipped him out just to get a shiny new toy but at the same time glad the club finally being ruthless.

He's been absolutely shit for us in the league, quite literally downed tools this season because he didn't agree with Jose on the way we've played. Bothered to turn up to a couple of EL games and now he's getting a royal send off? The man has been stealing a living for the last 6 months. Despite his future being clearly on the line since Jose dropped him, he's done absolutely nothing to get himself back in the team apart from sulk. Great character, that. Obviously cares a great deal about the cause.....
We've let better players/characters go before now. I hope he absolutely bombs at Arsenal. Good riddance.

He seemed like a nice guy, but I was never really a fan of him. A few flashes of brilliance, like the scorpion kick, and a few other decent goals. Overall, not a good fit for us, and possibly the league.

I'm so glad we got Sanchez, else this would be just a sad day for me. I really enjoyed those 10 seconds of pure class you put in every other game, Mkhi. I don't know why it didn't work out. I had the same feeling with Veron. Just a class player that doesn't work in PL for us. Wish him all the best - may he lead Arsenal all the way back up to 2nd place next season.
