I can imagine...

;)

The "not-in-form" striker:
9 goals in 14 games
The "European Footballer of the Year"
5 goals in 13 games

And guess who we are talking about.

I still don't reckon Forlan would have scored this sitter than RVN missed....

and RVN's scored as many goals from open play this season as our left back....

Your left back scored 5 goals from open play this season?

Leaving out the brace against Bayer Leverkusen away to suit your argument..

I too think he's been found out, he's not very good

I reckon premiership defenders will see more of him than their European Counterparts....

We'll see how he goes, I reckon he'll probably come good....

But then if he was found out I'd expect him to struggle this season....say just the 1 goal in open play

But surely, if he'd been found out, he wouldn't get any chances - and that's not been the case. Or have the Premiership defenders psyched him out?

He's not getting the same chances as last season...

i.e. ball squared to him on the 6 yard line with the keeper out of position..

Obviously he's going to find it more difficult to score from harder chances...

Is that your expert opinion from having watched 3-4 games of us this season?

He's missed a fair few sitters this season, and had his fair share of chances, so how you can claimed that he's been 'found out' is beyond me.

But then again, commenting on man United and the club's players performances without having watched them much is a bit of a speciality of yours..

And Owen or Heskey has never missed a sitter??

Ruud wouldve scored that volley last night only his first touch off his chest was so bad it went up in the air and cut out all of his time on the ball.

Thank feck for pens doesn't really tell the whole story. It should read: "Thank feck for pens and thank feck Michael Owen isn't taking them"
Bit of a long title but you get the jist

Ooohhhhh

1 goal in open play since April...

Not getting the same chances that he was last season...

No way he's been found out..makes no sense

Owen's proven himself in the PL for years...Heskey's not as good as RVN..

Thats got nothing to do with it..

We got a corner

Just on a point of clarification, are we talking about the chance where OGS nodded the ball back to the unmarked RVN in the 6yd box and hit it into Row z?
