Nerves back for Berettini, but good start this time from Novak.
The unpredictably of tennis is so fascinating.

Not sure the why the laughter. The mere fact that Berrettini won the first set speaks exactly to my point.
There is nothing remotely unpredictable about this match, we all know what the outcome will be and even how it'll happen!
Often isn't always, and if you go back and see the comments and how the first set was going, it definitely wasn't predictable that he went on to lose the set, especially since he got the first break. Anyway, point is doesn't change how I feel about what can happen in any given set, regardless of the final outcome.Djokovic often struggles in the first set, only to then push from there and win the second comfortably.
This is as predictable as they come so far.

Sure overall the cream rises to the top but doesn't change the unpredictably that can happen during any given set...
You can speak from your own point of view, fine, but I genuinely did not expect what happened in the first set, which is what brought on my response. If it was boringly predictable for others, they have a right to their expression of the match. I simply stated my fascination at what I experienced in that set.The laughter was because you're trying to make the match sound far more interesting than it is, with hyperbole like "so fascinating", when in reality it's a foregone conclusion.
Berretini is more than capable of taking a set on grass, but was always going to fold, Djokovic in 4 is the most predictable thing to happen all year.

Where do you buy this paint?Fair enough, personally I think you're nuts if you think this match is anything other than completely predictable, and about as "fascinating" as watching paint dry.

To each their own I suppose.Fair enough, personally I think you're nuts if you think this match is anything other than completely predictable, and about as "fascinating" as watching paint dry.
Yeah by no means class match so far but it's been intriguing. Some people will just never give Djokovic credit. Of course he is a heavy favorite and deservedly so. This is Berretinis first grand slam final and Djokovics 40th/41st? It's the two best players on grass this year, plenty of breaks, winners, great serves. If this is like watching paint dry then just quit watching tennis. It's not for you.

I struggle to understand why you watching if this is so painfully predictable then.Yeah if you're a Djokovic fan or just enjoy watching Berretini basically play squash until he gets tired and errors then I can see why you'd enjoy it, but it's as predictable as death and taxes.
18 aces and 60 plus winners so far but sure it's been Berretini hitting against a wall till he errors.. Out of 200 plus points , 33 have been decided by Berretini unforced errors. If you don't like what I like then you don't like tennis. What a load of nonsense.
Watching Berretini effectively hit the ball against a wall until he errors is pretty dull, but the paint drying comment was referring to how obvious the outcome is.
