Ten Hag's coaching staff

Anyone has a clue how many of Languages Van Der Gag knows ? and what are they ?
7 languages including fluent Portuguese.

Edit: 5 according to this

Van der Gaag is fluent in five languages - Dutch, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French - and was an outstanding young centre-back who seemed destined to play at the highest level when he stormed through the ranks at PSV Eindhoven until he suffered a serious injury that sidelined him for more than two years

I'm equally thrilled in getting this guy as assistant. Read a lot of positives about his capability to arrange a defence. Really looking forward to this.

If they don't run and make an effort he should sub them even if it's the first ten mins. I remember Jose when he joined Chelsea subbing a player in the first half. That got the message to the rest of the players.

Exactly sending players the message, either you follow my standard or go away. I just hope the board will not stand in the way again though. The board under woodward would never let players go unless crazy offers come. They content keeping players (even extending their contracts) fostering the "laid-back" culture we are witnessing today and it was always the managers who paid the price in the end.

I don't know much about any of these names at all but McClaren coming back is very interesting in a good way.

I don’t understand why Jaap Stam isn’t signed up yet.

Management experience in England, Dutch, Premier league and Manchester Utd knowledge and more importantly than all of that, he’s bald.

Van Der Gaag is almost as exciting an appointment as Ten Hag himself. A very highly regarded coach in his own right, known for his defensive organisation and ability to speak many languages.

Yeah, agree on Sascha Lense, also a question of if he wants to stay on as he's here through Rangnick. I would definitely wonder about the fitness coaches and, to be fair, the goal keeping coaches too.

It seems the club wants to have him evaluate the current staff though

I just hope there is no stinginess here, we have to start on the right track, which means give him the conditions he requires to succeed, not just in terms of specialisation, but also character, and people he trusts. Van der Gaag is said to specialise mostly on organising the defense, and he speaks multiple languages which is a huge bonus. He'll have the work cut out for him, no doubt.

Hope he brought a big stick with him.

Expected Ralf's boys to go, Phelan definitely going is a new one on me though.

Heard through twitter/journalists yesterday that there is one more die to come in and there seems to be a lot of thinking it could be Rene Meulensteen coming back in.

How much of that is generated through Howson's channel viewers is unclear though.

So did Phelan actually leave? I don't remember seeing any official confirmation. Plus no sign of this one more additional coach we were meant to be bringing in?

Duncan Castles is reporting that ten Hag is adding to his staff by bringing in 36 year old Kevin Keij from Ajax. According to his (Kevin Keij) Linkedin, he's a video analyst who specialises in the development of playing style, analysis of individual players as well as in the analysis of set pieces.

He’s no Lars Kornetka

It looked like he was leaving but then there were reports he was being kept on and was going to have a different role at the club.

Wonder what it is. Something to do with the women's team maybe?

It's worrying he's adding only Ajax guys to his staff. What are our scouts doing?

Kevin Keij confirmed this on Linkedin.
