Ten Hag | First MUTV Interview (10am BST) | Press Conference (12pm BST)

He basically confirmed Ralf's invitation is in the bin.

Great start. Ignoring the fraud is the perfect start for him.

That "fraud" is the biggest reason Ten Hag is at the club right now. Fecking hell some people.

He's clearly making a big play to get the players on side with him. The relationship between Rangnick and the players was completely fractured so he's probably doing the right thing in trying to appease them slightly.

He's going to have to rely on some of them at the very least.

Really good presence about him. Seems the type of character we need. Hint of keano mentality in there.

Straight bat there. The Journo's will be missing RR soon enough

"he did a great job" - on Maguire as captain

oh dear
It's the right answer. You don't expect him to throw our business out there do you? :) He will deal with things behind the scenes as he sees fit.

Besides, you can't give the English press anything. Just throw out some shit and do things quietly.

Handled that like a Boss! Not an out of place word. I'm pleasantly surprised how that went. Roll on the work...

Boring press conference tbh, journalists stealing a living

Big fan of the little nod at the end of his answers, shuts down the follow up question before they can even open their mouth.

This is the most delusional pro-Rangnick post I've seen on here and that takes some doing.

Ralf has absolutely nothing to do with ETH's appointment.

A better pro at comms then any our United's current staff. Good. The less said the better. We need to move away from all this sensational stuff.

People need to calm down. He’s never going to say all 25 players need to go or everything is crap. He has to start with optimism and he wants to get those players who are staying on side. Whatever people think
; part of the job is managing egos, being a politician and trying to build a collective.

Even if 10-12 players leave this summer there will be another 10-12 who he needs to contribute next season to whatever goals we have in mind.

Keep living in biased Ralf hate land. The irony in your post about delusion is staggering.

Is there a chance these journos will leave pissed off that he hasn't given them anything juicy so they'll just slander him instead..

Thought he did pretty well from what I saw. Straight bat didn't give them an inch. Not much PR bullshit. Work to get on with.

Anyway I'm happy we chose him. I think he's a good one but will need all the help he can get from United's suits. And also our support.
