I was curious where it was shot given that its obviously not in the US or Iran - the answer is Athens.
Yeah I’ve never really checked Apple TV+ but this looked interesting. Had also been renewed for a second season.
Still quite a way to go, but they have started to build a fairly decent line up by now. The Morning Show is brilliant, and I really liked Defending Jacob as well. Got this and The Mosquito Coast on my to watch list.
Its an excellent show, loved it.

Good show overall though it dips a little after the first couple of episodes. I suppose that’s to be expected.

Yeah they are about half way through season 2. Its exceptionally well done.
Coutinho does a commendable turn as the scummy gym owner.

The Middle Eastern-inflected original score is quite good in the show.
A bit disappointed in the finale. It was good in certain ways, and a bit ropey in others.
Was watching s2 tonight with the missis and said to her that he's the image of Bruno, she thought so too.
I enjoyed Fauda. How would you compare the two?
Politics aside which look to be a little one sided, I like Fauda better just for the entertainment alone.
It’s basically a more polished, less gritty version of Fauda. The same guy who created Tehran was previously a part of the first season of Fauda
Season 3 with Hugh Laurie is apparently already out in Israel and will make its way to Netflix later this year or early next. Not sure how accurate this is, maybe an Israeli poster (@Amir) can confirm if its out there.
Thanks. I guess it will make its way to Apple TV at some point.
Some point is right... Filming was finished in late 2023, but Apple did not allow it to be broadcast in Israel for months and months because of the war. I'm not sure when they'll have the guts to release it to an international audience.
I suspect they will release it since Netflix are already planning on releasing Fauda season 5.
