Team for next season

Not sure if there's any truth to this, but the latest name linked to Man Utd by Soccernet is non other than David "Calamity" James. He is England's #3 but still he's likely to cost more games than Barthez

GK: Barthez

RB: Gary Neville
LB: Micky
CB: Thuram
CB: Mexes / Blanc

RM: Beckham
LM: Giggs
CM: Keane
CM: Scholes / Butt / Veron

ST: Ole
ST: Ruud

A lot of ppl here requesting for a good CB with the likes of Ayala/Thurams or Nesta!

And at this moment, I don't think there will be any signing until the WC ends.

Therefore does anyone here consider about the prices for them after the WC?

I'm sure the price will skyrocket to a range where PLC would have to think hard and deep before investing on them.

so who would you suggest?</strong><hr></blockquote>

I have no idea. :)
Either a young prospect in the mold of Cisse or Paolo Di Canio.

I don't think their prices can rise much higher. In Thuram's case, the price will only get smaller... it won't exceed 12-15m.

I cant believe all the teams still have Blanc in them. Nothing against him, he's done better than I expected but he doesn't organise the defense and thats been the problem. He hardlt frightens the opposition either. We need younger hungry players to come into the team. I'd give O'Shea the chance alongside Thuram next season.

James
Thuram Nesta Ayala
Keane
Beckham Scholes Giggs
Veron
Van Nisteltrooy Kluivert

Subs: Carroll, Solskjaer, Butt, Blanc, Silvestre/G Neville

If you look at Argentina this is how they line-up. Simeone plays the Keane role holding in midfield and they get the best out of Veron playing behind a front two.

The day I see Patrick Kluivert in a Manchester United shirt will be the day I give football the elbow.
