I know. But we should either be using 451 or 442, no more or it may get confusing for the players.

IMO Blanc's too old and slow. Let O'Shea and Rio play together because they're our future and good enough to play together right now. Blanc is great to have as a backup with his routine and vision for the game... LET THE YOUNGSTERS COME!!! Or was it something like this - "you never win the league with kids"?......

Sinders, i like the look of your formation. The only problem against a team like chelsea is that they have genuine wingers and this formation may leave us bit stretched at the back. Against teams that don't possess genuine width i think it could work.
I'm beginning to think that 4-4-2 isn't working for us any more, but on the other side we need to play 2 up front, so three across the back may be the answer. To make this work Giggs needs to seriously up his work rate or he needs to make way for Djordjic.
What do you reckon??

I wasn't thinking of Chelsea when i made the formation. I just thought that would be an effective formation for the time being. When G. Nev. returns he can fight it out with O'Shea.
It a good formation, it can work. Becks and giggs are the key. I have no problems with Becks' work rate, his form may be slightly off at the moment but he always gives everything. It giggs that concerns me at the moment. His form is off and he doesn't seem to be giving everything for the team
Away to Chelsea is never an easy game, so I can see Fergie may well continue using 4-5-1. Though I hope he can at least replace Veron with Scholes. Scholes has done well in preseason and in the first league match. He deserves a chance and it is just too unfair if Fergie continues to ignore him.

Silvestre at LM ? Scholes in for Silvestre and Giggs on the left with Scholes moving ahead, and the formation could work. But its not going to happen so it doesnt matter.

Silvestre defensive left mid, The others could move around at will, still like you say it won't happen
