Tahith Chong

Shades of Diana Ross in 1994 as he stood over that penalty...

He looks like a classic case of a player that has just developed faster than players his age. He just runs circles around other players. Not really sure how he would do against players his level/higher. I do know he'll be our best player in an afro though

How's this not bumped? There's a tweet on the main redcafe page from
football-oranje.com (who I'd imagine are reliable) about him coming to us.

Know absolute nothing about the kid btw.

It got bumped, you live in the past mate. The discussion ended already  there is also a thread of him in the youth or united forum

 Jesus, really? In my defense I've practically lived in the library all week studying.

Swap em for Fellaini on the sly during the of night night and I doubt Feyenoord would even notice. That is until he kicks a ball in the next training session of course

His twitter account pretty much confirms the transfer
(I cannot post links yet...)

I don't know if it's a little scummy but I love the idea of picking up these talented kids at a young age from other teams. With the restrictions on homegrown players having to live within a certain number of miles to the club, this is a brilliant way of really getting the cream of the crop as far as academy players go. We've not had a player that's fully made it as a starter in so many years though, Rafael and Fabio have been shipped out. Januzaj seems on shaky ground. Let's hope things work out better for Rashford and the next bunch including TFM et al

The 90 minute rule was abolished a few years ago.

Looks a little like Anderson even in this pic. He even looks a little out of breath too :nervous:
Have a look at the op pic, looks nothing like chunky...sorry, meant Anderson. The guy is tall and lean and a good prospect.

With him and TFM and we have two of the best Dutch prospects in our squad

So how big a talent is he? Can we expect him to be in the first team soon?

Ha. Yeah, he doesn't look anything like him. Just meant in this pic he does, but I can see why my phrasing confused you.

Should be looking for a Ching and a Cha

That way we have a Ching Chong Cha in the middle.

Ok...maybe went a bit too far with that...

Still young so young so it feels more like United are trying to settle the worries of the united fans. The Bailly Signing and this possible signing done to kind of ease fans on the youth policy. But shame for some once they sign The Zlatan they would be undoing all that haha. For me, Who says you can't have your bread buttered both sides! :D

I'm quite excited about this guy! I've seen him play several times at Holland U17 and he looks like a great prospect. I'm really looking forward to that day when we will see him making his debut in the first team!
