Getting better and better with each game, hopefully he's starting to change a few minds about him "never being United quality". The talent's always been there, with a bit of luck he'll be able to refine it. I was worried he'd struggle to adapt to first team football but does seem to be settling into things nicely :D

He's come on leaps and bounds on the tour. Looked out of his depth in the first game, he got more confident in the second game and now he's taken the game by the scruff of the next.

chong, gomes and greenwood should all be retained and given a chance this year.

Looks so good today. There's definitely a player in there.
People need to be patient with him, he will lose the ball more than Gomes/Greenwood etc and he'll probably take a bit longer to fully adapt to the adult game but I'm glad he's still trying things and there's a reason he's on this tour with our other highly rated academy players.

He'll be inconsistent but the potential is undeniable. Bags of pace and talent.

Glad to hear he's done well today. I saw a bit of the game and the bit where he completely fooled the fullback was great.

So is he injured then?

Good performance, first time he hasnt looked out of his depth. Long may it continue.

Yeah Skriniar took him out and he wasn't moving too fresh after that. Was pointing at his knee before coking off.

Unbelievable on the left. Looked completely different from when he started the preseason on the right. Great great game.

Superb performance, looked a real threat in the final third, beating his man time after time. Great cross from which Greenwood hit the top of the bar. Decent shot just wide from distance too.

His best match of the pre season tour so far, was amazed how quickly people turned on him after a few disappointing half games. Hopefully he's not too badly injured.

Great dribbling skills- in both directions inside and outside. He knows how to unsettle his defender. Very impressive.

Am so hoping he’ll makes the grade here. Very clever player in the final third.

If we dont give those kids full minutes in EL, then whats the point, that decision would be beneficial in so many ways.

First time I'm seeing what he is capable of in the first team. The talent is certainly there. Maybe he had a bit of nerves earlier but now he's playing his natural game.

I think he is at his best on the left, and showed his talent today. Still think he needs to get a bit stronger, players will foul him a lot just like this game.

fantastic today - fearless and took some punishment from that Inter defence

hopefully fit to play a bit party of remaining pre-season games

Looks so much better as LW and I think that should be his position, at least for now. Last 2 performances was impressive and looking good for him to be part of the squad.

If anything, this guy seems much more like Giggs than James. Fantastic when he came on. Kept the width and when he got it, was always looking to drive at the opponent. Really good performance from him.

Same here. Today I finally saw why he's rated so highly by the coaching staff.

Brave performance and the wing play and cross to Mason was my highlight of the game.....

Best I've seen him in the first team. Not sure if the lack of preseason training and the temperature had something to do with it, but Inter didnt like him running at them. He won something almost everytime

Loved the look of him today. That really was an outstanding performance. He's got everything that you'd from a United-winger; pace, flair, directness and good delivery. Just need to gain a few pounds of muscle and get more minutes at a higher level.

He looks so much better on the left side.

On the right he’s always coming inside running into trouble. On the left he’s happy to run in straight lines or play a quick 1-2 into the box, but he’s always moving.

This sort of form is the reason he’s been rated so highly for a while. Great to see all our youngsters enjoying themselves.

Twice the player on the left which I don't know whether is a good thing or bad. Good because he doesn't look out of place when on the left even at a young age, bad because we have what looks like 4 players that can play well there and still 0 for the right. Hopefully he can get his confidence up and then bring his qualities to the right side as I think I read he has played an awful lot there in the reserves even though left footed. Exciting none the less.
