Over the shorter format smaller teams have more chance of winning. Look at Scotland today they came close to beating NZ today and Bangladesh had a big chance to beat India. I think there will be a lot more upsets in this tournament. One of them will be England winning the whole thing - all the pundits have written them off and looks like RedCafe says they have no chance aswell

I don't have a fecking clue about T20 but have a vague notion that England has some decent T20 specialists. Don't see why they can't win it if that's the csae. Even if the cream rises to the top, it's still a fecking lottery, and one you have a decent shot at winning if you've got enough good bats to chase down a score.

I'd love a Holland or a Tajikistan make it big in cricket. To be honest as much as I hate 20/20, it's probably the best vehicle for associate members to make their mark.
Dhoni pisses me off. Why is the he promoting himself all the fecking time? Great captain, great wicket keeper, but those are the only reasons he's in the T20 team. On merit, he should be coming at 5 down. He wastes 5 overs at run a ball every fecking time. For feck's sake. I hope this experiment stops after the groups. We have absolutely quality batsmen 1-6.

I agree 100% about Dhoni. I have been against his batting since after the 180+ against Pakistan some 6 years ago. He is wasting India's talent.
But I can't see India dropping Irfan Pathan. He is in great touch since the IPL and his bowling has improved lately. There is no way RP Singh gets in before him - RP was dire in the 2 warmups.
If Sehwag plays, Ojha has to sit it out, despite his MoM performance last night. Yuvraj, Sehwag, Rohit, Raina and Yusuf could very well bowl Ojha's 4 overs between them, and have room for more if any of the others fail.
If we're going to play 3 seamers and a spinner, I think RP will play. He got battered in the warm-ups, but he's a very good bowler and I'd back him to come good. Irfan played yesterday, but that was more because a batsman(Sehwag) was sitting out and Irfan's good with the bat, IMO.
Dhoni's always backed RP and I expect him to do the same again this time. I could be wrong, though.
And how about Australia? Starting to look like a terrible batting line-up for T20. They can't drop Ponting or Clarke because they're captain and vice-captain. And they have no replacements, either. Hilfenhaus, Siddle, Hauritz and White are the players sitting out. Only one batsman in White and he's not great or anything. They should've brought Hodge. Sending Symonds home is hurting them.

Although I do think its 55-45 to England at the moment. They cannot afford to lose this. All Pakistan need to do to qualify is beat Netherlands by a decent margin.
