I was watching a few videos of him yesterday band was sorely tempted to pick him
IMO, Figueroa is a no-brainer for 1st choice defender pick
My anger at all of you is growing by the post
Zico, Figueroa and van Basten were the three names I was mulling over so I'm just happy one of them lasted. You've done alright for yourself with Cruyff
. I'm happy as feck with van Basten though. Not great in terms of blocks, but he's the best in his position in the pool along with Romario.

You should add the second pick time of 30mins (this is a minimum) to avoid pick time advantages for 1st and 16th in the drafting order.
Actually, note the two times separately, it will avoid problems of adding wrongly. Keeping all the times separately gives a single post to calculate the averages from raw data.

How about we just not the tiem taken for both the picks for the end point drafters? e.g. 2mufc0 picked both his players 97 minutes after Ecstatic, so simply just note that.
This means the two drafters at the two ends will have half the number of values recorded from but we can still calculate an average from that and that would be a correct representation of their time taken on an average. @Physiocrat

Let's suppose all your picks took 100 mins. Since you picked in pairs that would be 7 picks overall obviously giving you an average on 100mins. If I add 210 mins to the 700 (7 x 100) this gives 910 and 910 divided by 14 instead yields 65. So counting your second pick as always 30 mins significantly brings your average down assuming your first pick is more than 30 mins.
The question really is, how much more time does it take to pick two players than one? Obviously more but not massively so. I think then Moby's idea of just having double picks treated as a single time is probably the best way forward.
