Just wondering people's thoughts on this guy. Haven't seen a huge amount of him but when I have seen him he's looked great.

How much credit does Rogers deserve bringing the likes of him & Sterling into the team ahead of more 'established' - albeit shit - players like Downing & Henderson?

From the limited amount Ive seen of him he looks to be a decent prospect.

he looks very good, but I'm not sure how much praise rogers should get.

The alternatives are Downing and Henderson.

Its not like he's dropping anyone whos been good to make way for the youngsters.

Credit is all Benitez', isn't it? Rang him personally to tell him to sack of Real and opt for Liverpool.

I think its largely enforced due to lack of squad depth and quality. Saying that both lads look decent prospects

Versus Newcastle, there was one touch of real class from him where he flicked the ball that was coming to him on the ground over Ba's head. That single touch showed me he was a good player for his age

Another technical Spanish talent, I think hes great.

Affected the game far more than Sahin when he came on vs Chelsea.

I wouldn't say that he looks 'great' just yet. I have seen him be anonymous and poor as well. He is a great prospect though. I think that his contract is up at the end of the season too.

Sterling and Suso, couple of cheeky/illegal bids?

He was pants against Chelsea when he came on. Gave the ball away or fell over every chance he had. Looked decent against us at Anfield but we were collectively anonymous that match.

Yeah he has just signed a new contract. Definitely has potential, if he is any good will end up at Chelsea or back in Spain.

I'm not sure if Rodgers deserve credit. I think he's just extremely stubborn in the formation he wants to play. He wanted a front line of Borini-Suarez-Dempsey, and he gave Downing opportunities at the start before accepting he's a bit shit, and doesn't suit his desired formation at all.

Given the opportunity (finances) you'd imagine Rodgers will look to off load Downing and bring in a couple more senior wide forwards. The move for Walcott will probably fail so I can see him again raiding Swansea, or perhaps a loan offer for Sinclair.

Don't see it myself. Sterling looks the real deal though.

I don't think Rodgers deserves any credit at the moment. It was well known they were talented, all Rodgers has done to date is play them. If he'd played them and Liverpool were at the top end of the the league, then he'd deserve real credit. But so far he's picked some talented young players and Liverpool sit in 13th. Virtually any manager could do that! It's not like they are some average kids they've found playing in the park and put them in a team of shit players. They are quality youngsters and Liverpool do still have a squad of good players.

If it wasn't for Suarez they'd probably be in the relegation zone.

Sterling pretty much looks like another fast dribbler that hasn't really got any football intelligence.

Funnily enough, Sterling's intelligence is what separates him from those players for me. For a 17 year old his decision making and the variety in his play (like his runs through the middle - from which he scored vs Reading, and should've done vs Everton) are excellent and will only improve with time.

I could have sworn Suso played centrally in the youth teams, a really good passer of the ball. Not sure he's a wide player.

He's played wide, in the hole and in a deeper CM role. I think his long term future's definitely in the hole though.

He has looked the part alright, bit of spark in him with the ball which is something the lacked for quiet awhile bar Suarez. Scouse will find a way to feck him up no doubt.

Good talent but just like Sterling, has no experience yet to be part of the first squad on Premiership level.

It looks clearly during matches, as they simply can't step up to Suarez's ability and in the end Liverpool's attacks look kinda like hitting a wall, sometimes even for full 90 minutes.

He should make a solid impact in the future, though.

You might be right and in all honesty the handful of games I have seen him this season he hasn't really impressed me too much but a handful of games is obviously not really enough to judge a player by.

Looks like he could become an excellent player.

I wouldn't give too much credit to Rodgers for bringing Sterling and Suso in though. There's basically no pressure, they're a midtable team who's rebuilding, so why not give a few extremely talented youngsters a chance.

With a shit squad and a good few young prospects, Brendan Rogers would have to be KK-stupid to not start playing them.

He's a bigger prospect than Sterling, although Sterling may have the physical attributes at this stage. Technically Suso looks a fantastic player.

Fined 10k for calling Enrique gay on Twitter. That will enrage the Scousers.

EDIT no. 2: One of my Liverpool supporting mates already wrote to me on Facebook about it. He has written around 15 lines or so, even though I've only written this so far "Hahahhaahahahhahahsaahisdalgfdafsaægsdaosad".

EDIT no. 3: Enrique to be fined for flipping the bird?

I don't really think this should be the FA's job, its banter between mates and not meant to be harmful.

Saw his name was trending on Twitter. Quite a few idiot dippers blaming Fergie.

Didn't Ravel get fined for the same thing?

While I understand it's banter between teammates I think it's unwise to insinuate that homosexuals have mental problems. Anyway, I don't think the FA should have to take action.

Macheda got fined for calling someone a "stupid little gay". Fined £15k, which is higher than Suso's fine but I suppose that's understandable given the context.

I don't think he is, that would be wrong.

Bit of a joke. FA are becomingly increasingly embarrassing with ever decision they make.

Funny that he should call people "Gay", he and Raheem Sterling look like vain, xfactor contestant metrosexuals.

its not an outrageous accusation

this is also on his twitter
