What a bunch of miserable bastards. I loved this movie.
The storyline is cliched teen movie fare but it's all presented brilliantly and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. True, a lot of the jokes are derived from immature toilet humour and sex jokes but they're delivered in a really clever almost nonchalent way; as opposed to something like American Pie where each punchline is underlined, highlighted and italicised for good measure. I remember this one bit where the two main friends are talking about being rubbish at sex and the line "sucks dick at fecking pussy" is used but nobody ever pauses for a laugh. The dialogue is just really well done and I actually found the cop scenes a bit laborious. Those two police officers are meant to be the sideshow slapstick relief for the stoners in the cinema audience. If that's all you found funny, you missed the point.
I should also mention the music. I liked it so much that I immediately went out and bought (some milk and bread before illegally downloading) the soundtrack.
