Liverpool would be fecking bonkers to get rid of Benayon for £9m. He may not be a world beater but he certainly is one of the few creative players they have on their books and they'd be hard pressed to find anyone better for less than silly money.

Argentine wonderkid Funes Mori is in the sights of Manchester United.

The Daily Star Sunday says the strike sensation, 19, has been in brilliant form for River Plate and has already attracted a whole host of admirers including Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Mori, who won a reality show to secure a contract with the club, has already received an offer to undergo trials with United’s *arch-rivals Chelsea.

The talented teenager scored a stunning hat-trick against Racing Club last week and is rated as one of the hottest *prospects in South America.

And Sir Alex Ferguson, who is happy to take his chances with South American talent, will be hoping to win the race for Mori before his European rivals get in on the act.

I like the Mandanda and Suarez rumours. I just don't get this Jageilka business. We are in no need of more center backs.

another weird one is Green to Schalke. Unless Schalke are sure to sell their number one Neuer, that would be a real stupid mo e for a person like green.

h newspapers....
Isn't he a bit flippy flappy, we need a keeper who can command an area, and can organise a defence well (like VDS) is this kid the answer... I don't think so

We need good back up to replace Foster. He is that. Young enough to add dimensions to his game he currently lacks the way Gomes of Spurs did. When VDS retires that's when we can go for a proper number 1. No one should seriously think we can bring in a number 1 to play second fiddle to VDS. Unless they are De Gea's age.

He’ll play upon, Your naturalistic intuitions…
The other River player that we have been, and certainly should be, looking at, is Daniel Villalba ("Keko"). He's only 17, but he's already played a number of games for River, largely because they have been terrible for the last few years. He scored an unbelievable goal in the World U17 Championship.

A rare weekend: United not linked to a new player.
Think even the journos have realised that we're skint.

Also if that Rooney story is true, then he'll be well and truly fecked after the world cup, and I doubt he'd even be fit for the beginning of the season! (even though SAF said he wouldn't be used for the 1st month anyway, I mean he will be injured for longer than a month)

Dejan Stankovic Pleads Sinisa Mihajlovic's Case For Inter Job
It’s almost a ‘family thing’ for 'Deki'...
By Vince Masiello
23-May-2010 2:31:00 PM

Dejan Stankovic thinks that Catania boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is the best man to succeed Jose Mourinho at the helm of newly-crowned European champions Inter.

Last night, Mourinho all but confirmed he will quit the club this summer after guiding Inter to Champions League glory in Madrid at the expense of German giants Bayern Munich.

Inter have already been associated with a host of names to replace the Portuguese in recent weeks and former Nerazzurri star Sinisa Mihajlovic, who earned plaudits with the Serie A minnows this season, is said to be in the running for the job.

“I often speak to him,” Stankovic said of his fellow Serbian to Sky Sport 24.

“How could I not wish that Sinisa comes in? He is like a brother to me, and I talk to him every three or four days. Let’s keep our fingers crossed…”

Mihajlovic spent two seasons as assistant coach to Roberto Mancini at the San Siro from 2006 to 2008 and has frequently admitted that his career goal is to become the Beneamata head coach.

Thanks Gambers. Yes, very disappointing :)
Thought they could at least link us with some unknown south american kid. That way we could all do the Youtube and wiki searches then pretend we know all about him and how he's the next great player and we should sign him etc. Instead were just going to have tolive in reality again and watch everyone else do things whilst we don't sign anyone.
