Spurs are such penny pinchers, yet when it comes to selling their own players, they always demand top dollar.

They have Bellerin, Debuchy, Holding, Mustafi, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Gibbs and Monreal. They can afford to loan him and he needs games.
Boufal is such a weird one. If he played in the PL he'd be worth a crazy amount. Will make Southampton worth watching this season and I have high hopes he can be one of the world's best one day.
We have a new training centre and a new stadium complex to fund. Such funding has been going on for several years and still has a long way to go. The total costs of these may be over £800m in the end - which is a lot of pennies to pinch.
Since we want to end up with as little debt as possible, splashing big cash on players is not the way to go.
Well if you are strapped for cash then go after players that are worth £15 million in todays current market. Levy doesn't make any concessions for teams he is selling to so shouldn't expect any from those he is buying from.
I think we have 3 senior players than were told they are free to find a new club. Jones, Rojo, and Schweisteiger. If the Rojo links to Valencia are solid, we'll bring in one of Fonte or Fabinho. If Schweinsteiger is moved on which seems far more likely than him staying, we could sign both. Have not seen anything credible regarding Jones.

Think Rojo will move to Valencia before the end of the window. The local Valencia press is reporting their interest.
Reportedly he has big attitude problems, which may be why more clubs weren't in for him.
