Deadline day will be shite. None of the big clubs will be doing any significant business and there will be breaking news for players like Marshall and Stuart Dallas.

It amuses me watching Sky still trying to ham it up. A couple of the winter windows have had literally nothing happening at the end and they still try and find a way.

Yeah, but he's just 17. They should loan him or just play him in the u21 team.
Don't get me wrong, there's no way they are selling imo, but it will be hard for him this season if he stays in Dortmund.

Well at least it sounds like we're still active in the market, I just had about given up heard no links to anyone for a week. Still need to fill other areas that are a priority.

I don't think we really need another winger. He'd be competing with Firmino, Coutinho and Mane, all of which I'd expect to start ahead of him. Maybe one for the future?

Sign a left back or a holding midfielder!

Yeah its not like Liverpool are short of options either. DM and the LB positions were probably two of the more urgent positions to sort out after GK and nothing has been done.

I don't think needs should come into consideration when bidding for 17 y/o potentially elite talents tbh. Unless you're talking a big chunk of your budget that is.

Nah £11 million isn't much for a club that has thrown £35 million at Andy Carroll. After the money we've brought in from sales I think we're up £6 million in this window so far anyway.

Can anyone explain the logic behind a loan to Granada? I thought we were looking for a Premier League team for him?

Maybe no prem team wanted him, or wouldn't guarantee minutes? It wouldn't surprise me if no one was interested from the prem really. Seems a tad light weight so maybe la liga is a better option.

Yeah, I just mean in general. 11m for any of the top 5 for a kid with superstar potential should be a no brainer most of the time.

Dortmund would be stupid to accept this offer considering the potential of this player plus the fact that the next US superstar would be a marketing's dream for any club.

Ffs

He's much better than that. A former Real Madrid manager and a former EPL champion can do better.
Not really. He's prolly into his final years in management. Why not go to China and make huge money. He's done enough has ol' Manuel.

Perhaps he's had enough of the media/pressure that comes with high profile jobs, and now just wants to earn a truck load of money before retirement.

It's ideal tbh, if he wants to wind his career down in his final few years working, why not roll in the cash?

On the flip side, if he fancies one more challenge later, sign a yearly rolling contract, and make some money while he waits for a good offer/challenge.

It's hard to make a comeback into European football.

Out of sight may lead to out of mind. But the money might be quite good.

Get rid of Rojo! Buy Fonte if needed as backup in CB and Blind is LB backup. We can survive without an addition tbf even if we sell Rojo. Still 8 players for 4 positions and some of them can play in multiple positions. Don't really need 9.

Inter with excellent business this summer. Bringing in De Boer as a manager and now these two, plus brought Brozovic permanently, Banega, Ansaldi and Candreva. Mixing them with Murillo, Miranda, Icardi, Jovetic and Perisic seems like a good set of players to work with. Hopefully they can compete for the top places again.

Inter going to be a cracking team if De Boer can get it right.

40 million euros certain plus 5 million per objectives. Loved João Mário as a player but we can't afford to reject these bids. We are a selling league. Strong rumours Slimani will be next after Porto game. Either Leicester or Wba will pay 30 million euros for him. Not bad for a player that cost us 300k from the Algerian league. We will make 70 million this weekend. Will miss the players but the money is too good

You should add that Sporting doesn't see all the money because of TPO and the bankruptcy deal with BES/BCP.

Weren't they defiantly saying they're not selling for less than 80 million, or even that they rejected a bid around that?

regarding Joao Mario

Yeah but at least this isn't paid in EuroMendes.
