Surely having a medical before actually making a bid is illegal?
Not if they've agreed to pay the release clause and Napoli have granted permission for the player to have a medical. The deal between Napoli and Juventus will be a formality.

Yeah I agree on that, but I would try for someone else (Troy Deeney for 30m ). 94m is far too much.
Apparently, the penny pinchers have found a way to deal with it : "Juventus are going to pay Napoli €94M in the space of two years, €47 per Season... for Higuain..."

So I reckon that will be the same sort of way we may pay for Pogba then.

Juve are serious about the CL but if they fail to win it Higuain will be a bad transfer for them. Huge money for nearly a 29 y.o. isn't great business.

What are Barca paying for Vietto and why do they even need him? He will get some games but that won't be enough for his development at this stage.

Looks more like a "pleasing the fans" kind of transfer. They can get better strikers for far lesser. Them confirming this transfers almost seals the Pogba transfer IMO. They don't have the finances to bank this kind of a transfer all on their own.

Very good bench option. We don't have a reliable cf that can replace Suarez. In this market, Vietto is a really good bargain.

Not a tweet but Leicester tried to get Kapustka (19 year old from Poland, you could see him in the Euros, Lineker and Rio were in awe) from Cracovia for 5 mln Euro, offer rejected.

They need a back-up, young forward. Not being able to rest the front 3 was costly last year.

Whether Vietto is up to that I'm not sure. I liked him at Villarreal but he had a poor year at Atlético.

Atlético signed him for €20m and he had a crap year. I liked him at Villarreal, but surely hard to ask for a lot when he's had a poor year.

Tell that to Everton. They want 50 Million for Stones.

Is it? The one thing juve were missing is a world class number 9
Well they were going to win the Serie A with or without him anyway and i don't think it's a good idea to spunk that much money on a 28 years old striker. They have quality all over the pitch upfront too with Dybala so they should have just waited for the right person imho. ~100 million should get you a player with world class potential right before their prime, Higuain is not world class in my eyes.
