8 players yet they only list 4 that I can see.

Surely Mata would prefer a move to Juve over Everton, even with the wage drop.

Mata, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Depay, Rojo, Blind and Januzaj are all mentioned.

Really can't see us moving that many players on without at least another defensive replacement and another midfielder (Matuidi), as well as Pogba. That would leave us seriously short of cover, but would mean a place for Fosu-Mensah to get more games. I do get the feeling that Mourinho is confident in his team's ability to keep the squad fit and injury free, perhaps misplaced faith.

But the offer was apparently in January.
Yeah I just looked it up on whoscored and apparently he scored twice in january but after that only 3 goals till the end of the season, but the whole Watford team was shocking after the winter so who knows how good he is.

I just remember he missed 3 or 4 good chances against us.

For some reason Herrera hasn't been named as one of those whose place is under threat under Jose. Should Pogba arrive, one would think Herrera, rather than Schneiderlin would be more likely to lose out due to the latter's stronger defensive capabilities. But that isn't the way it has been portrayed in the media.

I know. But Pogba and Matuidi means we are playing 433. There's no place for Rooney in that team.

The only place not to value Rooney is the cafe and some United supporters here. You've no idea what formation the manager will play and how MUCH he values him. Rooney will play ahead of most of the players in our team. Most supporters here have made Rooney the Jonah for all United ills in the past few seasons.

I wondered the same. Herrera is very lightweight but I'm guessing he must see his energy as something to work with and something we lack. He is probably the closest thing we have to an Oscar type of player - a link between midfield and attack that will put a shift in and has technical ability.

Nonsense, pretty much every football fan I know thinks he's terrible.

This has to be some sort of wind up. Surely van Gaal wouldn't have been stupid to pay that sort of money for him.
It was rumoured at the time about him and most didn't really want him. So wouldn't be surprised if LvG was that desperate. Glad nothing came of it.

Bullshit.. Ighalo's form was shocking after the winter if I remember right and I doubt they would reject 35mil for him.

It's not like he is captain indispensable aka Troy fecking Deeney
They rejected a £38.5m bid for him from a Chinese club this summer.

Looking forward to Glaston bigging Gotze up, if Spurs end up signing him.
He told us Pogba would need to "prove himself" to earn a regular starting spot in the stellar spuds midfield. :D

That's a superb bit of business for Southampton, for that kind of money I wouldn't have been against us taking a punt on the lad.

Yeah I think he is going to do well. He has the right mentality. Hard worker with a cracking shot. He could be the next schneiderlin. Won't be surprised if they sold him in two years for the double amount

I'd like us to go for Gotze and just shove Rooney out the team.

Wouldn't surprise me if true. LVG didn't have a clue what he was doing.

Like the Sanches rumours, goes against the assumption that he was certain to be sacked.

Nor me. In fact I'd be more surprised if it wasn't. His scattergun approach to transfers was ridiculous.

He didn't start the rumor, but he was the first one to come out with the details when no one believed it will actually happen. He didn't just tweet about it but came up live on Sky News with the story with all the details. He gets things right every now and then.

We've been spoilt by Di Marzio and Odgen(pre-LVG).
So the answer is no then. oh he gets things right now and then, all hail him then lol

http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...jbjerg-wechselt-zum-fc-southampton.html?ddt=1

Hoejbjerg going to Southampton for around €15 million acording to kicker. Confirmed by hoejbjergs agent Soren Lerby

Really interested in seeing what he can do in the PL. I haven't really followed him, but remember him saying something like needing game-time, else he'd have to start looking for a different club, that was last summer, or the one before. Haven't followed him, but at that time he was a very interesting prospect for Bayern. Maybe he didn't progress as expected for the last couple of years, but really looking forward to seeing what he's got in his bag.

Why is Clyne unhappy with his status? He's started nearly every game. Unless he means he's unhappy with his status as a Liverpool player?
He plays for Liverpool. That's more than enough to be unhappy with your status.
