Suarez bites | "sorry for falling into him and biting him and that"

Easily the biggest cnut playing at the moment. I wonder will Liverpool fans stick by him again.

Feel bad for Italy, another South American homer ref twat. Suarez will be banned for the tournament but it's no compensation.

Was anyone around when Cantona kicked the guy in the crowd and remember the media and public response? Surely biting three different people is just as bad as kicking someone?

Cantona got 8 months, never played for France again and got fined a lot. Clearly Suarez's last ban was not enough because he did it again. (For the third time).

Surely he must get at least an 8 month ban

Funny thing is I bet Suarez isn't a dick off the football pitch, he seems like a normal family guy but on the pitch he has these insane impulses. I'm embarrassed for him, even as a United fan I actually feel sorry for him now, it's going to be cringe worthy to see him justify biting somebody for the 3rd time.

Who knows what happens behind closed doors. If I were his wife's family, I would be very concerned by his behavior. His violent impulses seem to be without control.

So scousers are now going to become experts on wounds.

Just like so many scousers suddenly became well versed in Uruguayan culture after the Evra incident.

hopefully the media love in that has been on-going this season to paint him as a misunderstood genius is officially over. I was being to think i really had got him wrong. Scum.

Not sure if serious. He hasn't exactly murdered anyone on the pitch.

He cannot verbally or physically control himself on the pitch, and he has proven this repeatedly. As far as I'm concerned he should not be allowed to play professionally.

To defend what Suarez did to get less games ban

1. he has to admit he did a foul
2. he intended to do a head butt
3. however he failed due to Chiellini raised his shoulder all of a sudden
4. because of no.3 his gigantic tooth were inevitably/accidentally landed on Chiellini shoulder

Will it work to lessen the penalty??

I actually think this guy might be serious

Collymore with ass backwards logic on Talksport. Saying how context is always the British way (!) and a long ban does nobody any good. He has to be helped.
He keeps going on how he has a mental health issue and if you don't see it you're ignorant.. How can he trivialise mental health like this when he's supposedly a sufferer himself?
If your minds set on something that can be subjective, you'll find it wether it's there it not.
I'm not having a go at good old Stan, but I always thought he claimed Depression to explain away dogging, lack of application to his career and woman beating.
When he had a go at Ulrika a while back for making it up confirms it to me but that's a different topic.
Suarez needs to run off to sunny Spain where his cnutishness would be glossed over by the authorities because of who he plays for.

Chiellini on Sky Italia.

"Luis Suarez is a sneak & he gets away with it because FIFA want their stars to play in the World Cup. I’d love to see if they (Fifa) have the courage to use video evidence against him (Suarez)."

This happened at the World Cup too, football's showpiece. The attention it will gather should mean it's near impossible to give a half hearted punishment.

Year/season long ban is fair. You really can't argue against that level of punishment, it's his third time ffs.

Why is biting so terrible? Roy Keane deliberately breaking another player's leg is far worse.

I genuinely cannot believe he did it again after the outcry the last time. He should be banned for the next year in international games.

It isn't at all uncommon for people to be violent when competing in sport but not at all in the rest of their life.

I think you're being a bit paranoid in fearing for your imaginary family member.

So the comments over on Suarez Facebook wall aren't too pretty right now. I'm sure you'll be able to pick up a few swear words in a couple of different languages.

I just think when you've been blessed with teeth like Luis', it would be a scandal not to go around biting people.

Him biting a player is his way of kicking a player when the ref isn't looking

He is not going to be banned from club football, and he shouldn't. Should be banned for the rest of this tournament though obviously. Or at least 3 games which could mean a return if they would reach the final.

maybe the injury is far worse, but any actions like biting (especially when there is previous and he was on a warning) should be treated with the strictest of punishments

Luis has bitten off more than he can chew here. Bye bye world cup and most of next season I'd say.

Why shouldn't he be? Banning him from all football might make him learn his lesson.

I believe 100% that people's thirst for punishment and revenge is worse than what Suárez has done on the pitch. Outrageous and indefensible action from Suárez, but I do not see the necessity for all these huge insults and demands for an incredibly long ban. Let us find the correct balance, please.
