Sturridge and Moreno to leave Liverpool

Sturridge used to look like he had the makings of being a major talent, but he's a physic appointment waiting to happen - just hasn't got the body to cope with the game. Maybe a foreign league where the pace and physical demands are lower would suit him. Moreno is just terrible, but perhaps there's a lowly team in Spain that hasn't been able to afford to travel to scout him who will take a punt.

I’ll miss Sturridge, one of the best forwards I’ve ever seen at Liverpool, his pace and legs however are totally gone so a slower league would be his best bet.

Surprised at how bad Moreno was at Liverpool. He looked top class for Seville, him and Shaw were the two in demand young LB's, neither really have kicked on although Shaw has injuries to blame. At least Shaw can lay claim to being a decent full-back, Moreno's stint at Liverpool was a disaster, just full of mistakes. He will go back to Spain and be a decent player for someone like Betis, Malaga or Villareal.

Sturridge around 2011-2014 was a top class striker, good turn of pace, excellent dribbling, very clever on the ball and could finish but even when fit these days, he's not the same player. The injuries have robbed him of more than a yard of pace and he has no explosiveness now. He has tried to alter his game by coming deeper etc but he's just not cut out for the top level anymore. As has been mentioned, West Ham will take a punt on him most likely and live to regret it.

Might we worth Villa taking a punt on Sturridge if possible.
